BRFCS News1363894574 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 [caption id=attachment_2418" align="alignright" width="300" caption=" Picture courtesy of cn174 ][/caption]Rovers are leading 3-0 at half-time after a superb first-half display, capped off by a wonderful and richly deserved solo strike from Junior Hoilett on the stroke of half-time.After a solid start, great work in the penalty area from Junior in the 23rd minute opened Wolves up as he laid off to Salgado, whose drive towards goal was turned in by Jason Roberts to give us a deserved lead. A stunning Brett Emerton strike from the edge of the area in the 38th minute saw Rovers extend the lead. Wolves are looking ragged and undisciplined, with captain Karl Henry walking a tightrope after a talking to from referee Howard Webb for pushing Jermaine Jones after having already picked up a yellow card. Meanwhile, Phil Jones required treatment after being on the receiving end of a very poor challenge by Stephen Hunt, who is fortunate to have escaped yellow, unlike a clearly irritated Craddock. Chris Samba picked up a yellow card for Rovers. Elsewhere, Blackpool have come back from a goal down at Old Trafford, where it is 1-1 at half-time, leaving Wolves in the relegation places and Rovers looking comfortably safe. View full article
