Rovers 1 West Brom 1.

Typical of their season, Blackburn Rovers once again failed to capitalise against a bottom half table club. After taking the lead on 11 minutes through Damian Duff they failed to increase their goal tally, allowing West Brom’s Jason Kumas to equalise in the 54th minute.

After a very disappointing display, manager Graeme Souness didnt attend the end of season salute to the fans and sent his assistant Tony Parks out to meet the press.

Rovers now go in to next weeks final game, away at Spurs, knowing that a win is their only passport in to Europe, whilst hoping that Manchester United defeat Everton.
