Alan75 Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 Blackburn have confirmed that James McEveley, who has picked up the Supporters, Young player of the Year Award, has signed a 4 year contract. Just over twelve months ago Everton were debating whether to offer the young defender a contract, now the future looks bright for the young defender, after he grabbed the opportunity given to him by Blackburn Rovers. Since stepping up to the first team as a raw 17 year old against Rotherham in the Worthington Cup, McEveley has been a revelation, culminating with a call up to the England U21 squad.
