As one chapter finishes, a new one starts, as local boy David Dunn leaves Blackburn a new midfield prodigy is developing under Blackburn’s Academy set up.

Ciaran Donnelly, a lifelong Rovers supporter, as is his father, is off to Liechtenstein to represent England in the UEFA U19 European Championships.

Ciaron’s goals helped England qualify for the championship and he was a key member of the Rover’s team that won the U19 Championship.

Exiled Rovers

Recently released Rover’s midfield winger Keith Gillespie has today passed a medical with the view to joining newly promoted Leicester City, whilst James Corbett has joined Southend on a free transfer.

Hakan Sukur released by Rovers at the end of the season has joined Turkish club, Galatasaray.
