welbrfcs.JPGWith the International weekend over Blackburn manager Graeme Souness will be hoping his players return injury free from international duty, when he starts to prepare the team for Wednesday’s UEFA Cup return leg against Turkish Club, Gençlerbirligi. With reduced ticket prices for the game the club are doing their best to generate support for the team that needs to keep a clean slate and win by at least 2-0 in order to progress further in the competition. Ticket prices for all areas are £10 or £5 for season ticket holders provided they purchase their tickets before the ticket office closes on the 14th.

Meanwhile subject to the granting of visas, etc. Rover & Gençlerbirligi Supporters, are preparing to rekindle friendships with a few drinks and another fans football match on Wednesday, prior to the UEFA Cup game.

One player who will miss the game, is Rovers full back Lucas Neill who is reportedly, is in hospital with suspected pneumonia.

Neill was reportedly taken ill last week, missing training, and he is now under going tests and  could be out of action for weeks.
