Jon Stead's injured hamstring has recovered sufficiently to be included in Blackburn's squad for tomorrows game against Arsenal and Rovers will assess his fitness again tomorrow morning, before Souness names his team.

With a hamstring injury ruling out  Paul Gallagher, Souness, will subject to the results of Stead's fitness test have the options of pairing one of four strikers, Stead, Cole, Yorke and Jansen in leading the attack.  The inclusion of Jansen having been the topic of great debate by members of this site following Jansens omission from the reserves mid week.

Italian defender Lorenzo Amoruso who did have a run out in the reserves is not considered match fit yet and has been omitted from the squad.

Blackburn Squad : Friedel, Neill, Gresko, Johansson, Todd, Short, Babbel, Gray, Andresen, Tugay, Emerton, Douglas, Jansen, Cole, Yorke, Stead, Enckelman.
