Alan75 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Rovers gained a valuable away point against Sunderland this evening thanks to a second half equaliser by David Thompson. Sunderland took the lead through Kingsberry in the first half after Sunderlands Wanless was brought down by Alex Bruce. Sunderland were kept in the game by keeper Alnwick and Rovers were unlucky not to win the game when a Matt Jansen shot hit the post.
