  1. All I was saying mate was that there will be a lot of coaches compared to a lot of other games where a lot of the away fans make their own way.It will take a long time to get all the Burnley coaches through,I saw how long it took to get the Rovers coaches past last weekend,I live near there, but that was on a Sunday morning. On a Tues eve it could cause a tailback to Bromley Cross. I could be wrong though 'twas only a guess.
  2. I wouldn't count on it because it usually causes traffic chaos,it's a bottleneck there at the best of times and the police are gonna be trying to get all the Burnley coaches through,so can't see them allowing it.
  3. Just got mine, two hours, massive queue,as mentioned above a grand total of three windows open, although it's good to see tickets selling like this for a Rovers game you'd think they would be a bit better prepared,is say a couple more windows open too much to ask? Not a season ticket holder myself,I'd wait till tommorow or Thursday to those that are, surprised to see that many in the queue. Blackburn end non S/T places nearly sold out.
  4. I wasn't as over confident as some about the first game but just got the feeling we'll finish the job off at Ewood.
  5. Theres more locks on this front page than in Strangeways.....
  6. Don't think I've felt this nervous about a game for about twenty years, reading the posts on here is making me worse, not going to the game, could have gone in the Longside with a Burnley mate but no thanks, don't know what would be the hardest, sitting on my hands when we score or having to celebrate when they do. Don't give a toss about the league, not even thinking about gettin to Cardiff, this is the East Lancashire cup final, the most important game in the world. To both sets of fans that are going, have a good day and sing your hearts out for your team. Good look to both teams, but a bit more to the Rovers. COME ON YOU BLUES
  7. So come on,anyone got tickets in t'longside?
  8. Spot on,imagine if this was third or fourth Rovers/Burnley game this season, and we knew we would play again next season four times, just wouldn't feel the same would it? Rangers/Celtic is bigger in terms of bigger crowds, known the world over etc,but I just can't see the fans looking forward to it in the same way Rovers/Burnley fans are to this game.
  9. 1.Rovers till I die (possibly Sunday night) 2.England (football, cricket or rugby) These are the only teams I actually support although I do look out for Rangers (but I hope B.Ferguson suffers a career threatening injury) Leeds (always thought they had good support) Accy Stanley Internationally,I like Holland, got no idea why but whenever England are out of a tournament and they are still in I'm with them.
  10. Barry Ferguson went back to Scotland because he is an average player, completely over-rated when we signed him,he realised this and sulked his way back to the SPL where he can continue to under achieve for the rest of his career, because he can get away with it up there, you can't in England. As mentioned before, there was something dodgy about this transfer from the very beginning. Also I seem to remember Ian st John warning him at the time not to sign for rovers, saying that his biggest derby game would be Bolton Wanderers, can't say he wasn't warned!
