We've won 3 games all year in the league and it's now nearly May so I'd say it's pretty justified in being half glass empty with this team 😄
Don't recall mentioning a 'win'?
Keep up son.

I think Preston will get at least a point tonight meaning Leicester will need something on the final day to win the title. Even if they don't, we're not getting anything there so I don't think it matters. We're totally reliant on one of the teams below us not winning. It's therefore not in our hands on the final day in reality.
I'll personally be keeping a very close eye on the Plymouth game as I think that's the key one.
Absolutely no reason why we can't nab a point which is all we need, coming after the Leeds result I'd say you're a kinda half empty glass type 😉

First day of the League 1 season…
‘Steve Waggott get out of our club’ from a few hundred in NO1, with a response of ‘shut up yer dicks, get behind ‘em FFS’, will be about as far as any mutiny goes.
Sounds about right, we have too many fans with their heads up their arses.

Just to clarify…are you genuinely suggesting that I shouldn’t be able to buy a ticket for myself? 🤔
It’s the 21st century…people no longer necessarily live near to their roots. People also support teams from parts other than their familial roots. If I (a Rovers supporter) can have a Sheffield postcode, it’s not a ridiculous notion that an away fan might have a Blackburn postcode.
I'm suggesting nothing of the sort, keep your knickers on fella.

Well I live in Sheffield for instance so…🤷♂️
Surely you have family/friends in the area?

Bolton, Preston, Huddersfield, Bradford are all examples of clubs who understand their fanbase and area.
They use initiatives which lead to affordable pricings.
Obs Riverside should be cheaper.
Family STs/flexible. 1 adult 1 kid, 1 adult 2 kids, 2 adults 1 kid etc...
Students should be cheaper.
Early birds should send out a 'wow' factor with fantastic savings.
Finance needs sorting with so many fans turned down following being unable to pay full upfront.
Better incentives needed with benefits attached for all ST holders.
This should have been done following the feel good factor following promotion from league one, instead Waggot has continually ripped the fans off.
Trouble is that's how you'd grow a crumbling fanbase, cheers Swag.
There's no reason why Rovers shouldn't be attracting around 13k STs at least, but right now under these clowns the product is way off.

Every chance we get a result tomorrow, about time we made Ewood a difficult place to travel for away teams.
-
Last season we where the most featured team for live Sky matches (21) and got well paid for it.
We also did well and attained a considerable amount of cash in the cups.
Waggot could and should of heavily subsidised early bird STs prices similar to what Bolton do etc..
9k would easily be 13-14k
But no..

Ended up being a great game today. Rovers were missing a couple of important players but managed to score a couple of great goals early on and then hang on for the win on a sunny day at Ewood in front of a record crowd.
That win means they have broken their record for most points scored in a Championship season and there are still four games to go against teams either below or level with them.
Next home game is against Reading on Sunday, April 14th at Ewood.
What was the attendance?

Evey England manager besides Alf Ramsey won nothing. Using that as a stick to beat Southgate with is a bit harsh.
England are not a top table football nation, as much as I want them to be. Yet thanks to Southgate's efforts whilst aiding England youth development the national talent pool is getting better.
As for yesterday's game. It wasn't the best. Gallagher and Chilwell were poor. Watkins anonymous. Bellingham got kicked off his game, especially by Paqueta. Maguire will play at the Euros, but he needs significant game time week in week out until the tournament to get sharp.
Completely disagree.
Not harsh at all.
Southgate is 'safe' we are wasting this talent with him in charge.
Sooner he goes the better, this is not based from the Brazil game btw.

How many times have Germany won Euros and World Cup? They’ve never had the best league or best players in the world, I’m not buying that damo.
They didn't, however they had a greater European club record.
We where miles behind In respect of technical ability etc.
BTW, earlier I mentioned Pep and Jurgen, not in a million years did I suggest they'd become next England manager, I was comparing what that level of coaching and management could do to our talented squad.

Its all about opinions of course damo and I respect yours.
You talk about Pep and Klopp, but they're never coming to manage England and lets not forget we had a manager of this calibre in Capello, probably in Venables and Robson too, all failed to reach the heights Southgate has, food for thought maybe?
You need to remember the Venables, Robson, Ericsson days when we had quality players, we also lagged behind European clubs.
Not now, completely different to those days, we dominate Europe, Bellingham Real Madrid, Kate Bayern.
We'll win nothing under Southgate.

Gareth Southgate is the most successful England manger since Alf Ramsey, but he's won nothing. But what he has done is take his England side to European Championship final, something that every other England manger has failed to do in the history of the competition, think about that.
That statistic alone means he deserves to be in his current position and all this nonsense about "once in a generation talent pool" is something we've been hearing for decades, usually with the same outcome, failure!
Friendly internationals against Brazil mean nowt, its what happens in a few months time that really matters.
Disagree, Southgate is a 'safe' defensive minded coach who is stubborn when picking the likes of Maguire, Henderson and Phillips amongst media and fans disapproval.
When we played a poor Italy at Wembley a goal up, Southgate's tactics where to sit back and protect the lead, then put on Saka etc way too late.
Name me a Premier League side who'd want Southgate as their manager, he failed at Boro.
We have a good chance with the talent available, but we'll win any major tournament under Southgate.
Imagine if England's head coach was Pep or Jurgen?

What an absolute setup.
After months of thinking this through, this was the best avenue to take.
You're fooling no one Greg.
Disgraceful yet again from the club.

Of course it does, we were 8,000 short of capacity, not 10k which the JW holds.
As I said before -
3,000 in the BEnd Upper, 100 or so in the lower, 500 in the Darwen End, c2,000 in the JW, c2000 or so in the Riverside. Add corporate, disabled etc to that and seems fair enough to me.
No conspiracy here.
That's nonsense 2k in a pretty much sold out JW stand, try 500.
Corporate was also sold out.
When you do the maths it doesn't work out.

Neither were sellouts. Oxford only filled about half the DE upper so over 1500 empty up there and then the lower tier wasn't completely full, nor were the top corners of the BBE.
For some reason we never fill the full capacity of the DE these days whereas back in the 90s I'm sure they got an extra 300-400 in there.
Against Newcastle there were chunks of seats in the bottom corners empty.
Maybe it's never quite filled because Maggot is saving pennies from police/stewards

Watching it on TV, there were plenty of empty seats in the Walkersteel and Jack Walker stands.
Riverside yes, Jack Walker not really.
The directors seats apart it was pretty full
-
The attendance for the Newcastle game of 22,730 just doesn't add up.
Approx in each stand including corporate.
JW - 9.5k
BBE - 4.8K
RS - 2.5K
DE - 7.5K
Total = 24.3k
Look at it another way
Capacity of Ewood is 31,367
take 22,730 you're left with
8,637 empty seats.
BBE upper - 2,900
RS - 2K
DE - 400
JW - 500
Total 5,800 empty seats
If all were sold that's a sold out stadium of 27,530?
Were have the missing 3k seats gone?

Really enjoyed last night, if only Ewood was rocking like that every game.
Only negative was a 'know it all' gentleman sat behind me in the JW stand spouting negative shit throughout the match.

Waggott is the best CEO we’ve had under these rats and he’s still nowhere near what a club like ours needs.
He’s paid to keep the lights on and is doing that. We get the occasional ticket offers and the catering has improved.
That is job done, because the owners don’t demand anything more from the guy.
We know what the real problem is….
VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Waggot and 'best CEO' should NEVER appear in the same sentence no matter what point you're going with.
