There is also an outward bound train at 18:10 which gets you at manc piccadilly at 21:45. Which will get you back in blackburn at about 11 or so. I will be gettting an earlier train i think.

forgot to mention that going via manchester is the better option (if yr North West).
So they will go direct to manchester then, as i want to go on the train.

Souness should not be sacked, all this talk should be stopped and the thread locked, we are now in our a better position than we have been in for the last few months, and with newcastle on wednesday a fully winable game, we could be flying higher. He HAS to be given till the end of the season.

I saw that it was very funny, burnley fc begging for money on T.V, it actually put the club in a bad light, because they were begging. And they took paul weller round as if they were showing him off or was he the prize

As long as he still gives his all to Rovers then everything is fine. If he is not in the SKY studio he would only be at home watching it on T.V wouldnt he! It shouldnt affect the team, just a bit extra money for Souey.

You have to look at the injuries to key players, some of the players that have been playing recently are reserve players at the best of times: mahon, danns, douglas, johansson, taylor. I believe souness is doing well considering the small squad he has at the moment, you`ll see when all the players recover. I believe we can go for Europe next year IF we stay in the Premiership.

Anyway this delivery guy came to my door yesterday, i was wearing my rovers shirt, and he said "has he been sacked" i replied "who " he goes "souness" i then said naa he is doing ok now apart from brum last saturday.
methinks he was a dingle with a crappy job.

I really do find it amazing how we manage to compete in this league when other teams are making this kind of money. Like you say sponsorship is worth £50 mil to united to us its worth no more than £5- £8 mil

No the teams that play on Sky, get an extra 500k i think on top of an lump sum at the beginning of the season.

Its a crying shame that all teams apart from Manchester United and Chelsea, maybe Liverpool too, are all in debt. This is largeley due to Sky paying more money to big clubs because they are on T.V more times, like last year when Sunderland got £13 m while Manchester United got £30m. i dont care what anybody says the Premier League is becoming like the SPL. Fans are just as bad, with people supporting Liverpool,Newcastle, Man Utd and Chelsea. The F-A must insist on T.V money and other monies to be distrubuted fairly and equally.
