Surely flags on the Blackburn Upper would be good obviously as long as ‘next generation’ aren’t using it?

Thank goodness it wasn’t just me. The kit looked like used dishcloths from a distance and the numbers didn’t show either... I appreciate the problem of away kits to be changed each season but I always dread the grey/black time.

That’s a great point. Most proper football managers would expect kissing Desai’s ring to be Waggott’s job not theirs.
She isn’t like that at all. In any case it’s her business and against all the nonsense she wants it to succeed no doubt surprisingly to some of you.

As Raya could no doubt testify Rodriguez is very skillful at leaving a foot in and making it look like an accident.
I’m still furious about this. Also Charlie getting a kick in the ribs which cut into his liver. Should have been reported just letting Rodriguez getting away with both deliberate attacks and making out his innocence... he’s getting away with far too much.

A young, vibrant woman has lost her life. My heart goes out to her loved ones at this dreadful time for them.
God Bless you Emma, a sad loss and a member of the Rovers family.
RIP

Ha. I stand corrected.
I would have felt exactly the same if I hadn't seen them. It was quite well attended so easy to miss someone.

Then you weren't looking. The Club President, Keith Lee, and his wife were there. I saw a few others too, whose names I can't recall.
I noticed the flowers were blue and white too...

As I thought, Jisty. I'm not inspired by the thought of this man coming to Rovers at all.

Love the Blackburn End photos....(inside and out)
Where is the ROVERS F.C. sign/stonework these days?

By tits I'd imagine he's talking about Sullivan and Gold.
Ha ha thanks Gav, I've been a bit out or sorts lately and that cheered me up!

Well he's signed up with us until 2015 so he's going to have to get used to it! My daughter was the same when she left home for Uni, now she can't wait to get back and we rarely see her at home. He'll be fine once he's had a few weeks back home.

Twilight... It haunts me, it will not go away. My life has been damaged by this book in so many ways, it has been shortened by the reading of it.
Brilliant! Thanks for that, rmw. Haven't been on this thread for a while and your review of Twilight was worth it, made me laugh and cheered me up no end, even forgot about Sam Allardyce for a few minutes.

Reserves are playing at Leigh against Blackpool on Monday evening. I'm hoping Formica and Rochina might be involved. Quite fancy the trip over.

like that idea. Unfortunately they're all indoors with their xboxes etc these days, haven't seen one round here for weeks, nay, months ...

Here is a further rant about the snow.
We live at the bottom of a close of twenty houses. I went round with a note for each asking if they could possibly clear snow from the road in front of their properties. There is a large grit bin fairly close by which has just been refilled with grit.
Result? About two have cleared a little of the snow by their properties. I have been out again today trying to grit the worst bits.
My grandfather, at the age of 82, thought nothing of clearing his drive, the pavement in front of his house and the neighbours, and the road in front of it. Can't believe that today's people, cannot be bothered to help their neighbours by doing a bit of snow shifting. Of course, will excuse those who have back problems/headaches/runny noses - and I am well aware that there are some decent folks out there who genuinely have health problems that would prevent them from clearing snow.
But, really ...

Matt Derbyshire was at our match last weekend, with his little twins

Yes, it was a wonderful send off for the great man, and our beautiful cathedral was the right choice for the service.
I only wish EVERY footballer could hear and digest what was said about Ronnie, he was truly a very special man, to his family, his friends, his club and his fans. RIP xx

I think Ronnie would have enjoyed the applause and chanting. It was a tribute to a long and happy life. You could feel the love for him on Saturday.

He loved Rovers and was loved by Rovers. RIP Ronnie, one of the nicest men I have ever met. Thoughts and prayers to your family. So sad. xx
Derby County (H) - We couldn't make it four... could we?

ROTHWELL wasn’t his usual self on Saturday - he had suffered a calf strain earlier in the week which may have returned. I noticed when subbed he went off back to the changing room with one of the staff.
