Currently listening to Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys.
Also just got Hell Freezes Over on DVD by the Ealges.....can't beat the old bands.

He's the bees knees .
Sven must stay!
He's doing a great job with mediocre players and, lets not forget, he's getting paid a fair sum for screwing England in more ways than one

I was wondering what the smell was, abbey
The stale,lingering one?
More like a bloody old woman who never shuts up and persists in nagging about the same topic

Try Singapore Airlines as they fly to Manchester or at least used to.
Or how about this?...EVN2N Vietnam Airlines from $1664!!!
-
$2100???????????
Are you intending flying business class?
-
Re the pic of the fans:...The chap on the left of the pic appears to be a poor advert for a health insurance company.
Having said that he's a walking advert as to the need for health insurance
-
Excellent report Scotty.
If the red card stands when will De Pedro's ban come into effect?
-
I blame Lee Grooby c/o of Ewood Park
-
But its a valid point SG.
Not much in the Ipswich area..oh why do I bother.
Only 28,000 at Ewood first home game..blah,blah,blah.
-
Morph... apparently it turned out to be the latter option I suppose.
Seriously, maybe I'm just not getting it, but how would a bid to sign this Volpato kid be jeopardized by the fact that we know who he is now?
Because once news that he's related to Grabbi gets out then ST"s will be returned.
-
So till this day we dont know who that young trialist was two years ago?
He was a young Morroccan lad who was based in Abtenau, where the Rovers were playing and turned out to be the son of a contact of Graeme Souness. He was never seen again
Ah I see you are a historian.
Did your memory rewrite history?
-
latest on the season ticket front at work, saw a driver who is a season ticket holder and asked if he was re-newing.
the all too familiar answer came back,NO I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO SPEND £350 ON.
with this weeks revalations i would not be suprised if people ask for refunds.
I guess they will take out a subscription to Rovers World then?
Such a bargain don't you think Waggy?
After all rather than watching Souey's choices you get to listen to it?
-
Put me in the indifferent camp. If he stays fair enough as long as he puts in the effort every match.
If however his ego has got the better of him then the Souness has done the right thing. No point in having a disgruntled has been in the dressing room.
Thanks for the memories Andrew Cole.

Ship is becalmed not sinking.
The ship's been supping South Australian wine all night by the sounds of things and is heading towards the harbour wall, not altogether in a straight line.
You want to be careful out there, the area is well known for causing involuntary bouts of questionable posting on here and on msn.
Pot kettle black springs to mind re some of your late night alcohol fuelled rants at other posters.
As for the MSN convo you allude to how about selling it and donating the cash to the site...what would you want under your avatar instead of sponsor?
Back to the donation idea...Dave Birch,I'll send a cheque via SR.
-
Being one of the original 27 I totally disagree with the sponsor idea.
And to think one of the other 27 was a Burnley fan.
Put your money where your mouths are and think about it.
-
Can't think of anything more to add Tris.
Well said.
-
Finally got to see the tape of the match.
I have to say that the referee got it right

Flitcroft is one of my favourite players but his days at the club looked numbered. It sounds as if he has had a barney with our esteemed manager, so nothing new there then.
Now, now Simon. You should know better than to upset the unemployed former master brewer, expecially when he's out of his tree (again) after spending what's left of his redundancy money in yet another pub!
Now I know you're a former journalist Jim and as such prone to twisting the truth but even for you that's a good one. Dear me you really are a card, i'll have to get on to the home and get them to up your medication.
A former journalist?
He regularly appears to be doing a night shift still!
Wonder if matron knows he's up and about at 2am your time accessing the internet
-
I personally feel its an injustice to Flitcroft.
Here's a guy who's stuck by Rovers through thick and thin only to see a chap who's played a handful of games replace him as captain.
Having said that maybe Flitty asked to be relinquished of the captain's armband??
I think you'll have to concider the fact that Flitty aint gonna be in the regular starting 11 next season, whilst Bazza sure is.
Let's hope you are right and that he doesn't suffer a relapse soon after returning.
Maybe it would have been better to give Flitty one more season and ensured Ferguson made a succesful return from injury.?

Good on you Kamy.
This may well prove to be one interesting signing.

It's unbelievable that this thread is still active.
After all the season hasn't started yet FFS.

I'm afraid that the Australian cricket team lost all credibility when they chose to re-select a convicted drugs cheat. From that point on, I pay no regard to anything that they do.
I thought the days of you needing a conviction to represent Australia had passed.
It's just simply not cricket.
Do you pay any attention to where and whom the English team are playing?
