Elliot Jackson saying it looks like a club decision that he won't speak at presser today. Read into it what you will.

Brad Lyons just scored for Kilmarnock against Rangers. Didn't know he had ended up there.

I like US style baseball but what just happened in SA v WI beats it every day.
I'm just glad I got to see it.
That was insane! Scoring 258 in a T20 and still losing!

Fulham and Norwich have never actually played each other. One goes up the other comes down.

I attended the last Eid prayers at Ewood with my wife and son. Every effort was made to protect the pitch, most came in sandals or other pit h friendly footwear. Shoes were taken off to pray, matting was used to cover the pitch where people were praying and on top of that we put our prayer mats. Before the prayers people came and sat with family and friends there was no wandering about the pitch or playing football. I stayed till well after and as a rovers fan inspected the pitch! There was very little evidence of damage at all as most left immediately after. One or two posed 'playing football' but it was for photo op rather than being allowed to run all over the pitch. This time I personally think it would be better to move more to the centre of the pitch rather than in the corner near the darwen/Riverside as the stitch areas are around the goals. All in all I wouldn't worry too much about the pitch as people were careful not to damage it and key areas were off limits by staff there.

David tearing into the bowling at the death. Should be over 200 for Lancs. 60 from 29 so far.

Not unexpected but and absolute shocking bowling performance from Woakes and Wood. Great start and then absolute rubbish thrown down by these two has seen the Aussies in position to win the test on the first day. England essentially down to 3 front line bowlers with stokes and now Robinson not bowling. Two of whom have been rubbish. Let's hope Broad takes some more wickets or this could be at least 400 for the Aussies.
Edit Head has got himself out may be hope yet. Although they should be nowhere near 200 on this wicket.

I was speaking to a Makem mate earlier about the game and he said the same thing about Gally. I argued he can't control a ball win a header or do much but he argued that yesterday despite what I thought Gally took the central defenders focus all game and that allowed our small quick players to have space. He wasn't surprised we do better with him in the side even if he doesn't score much.
