Personally I would love to see JDT and Broughton use the Wharton sale to make a stand and tell that useless lump Waggot to convey the following to Venkys: That if they don't get at least 50% of the proceeds to reinvest into the squad, that they will immediately resign.

This will have several potential benefits; it would force Venkys hand to either honour the job description sold to jdt and Broughton / highlight to the average clueless fans exactly what the club has become / protect their joint reputations before they are further damaged by working under impossible conditions / bring the whole shambles to the fore once and for all.

3 letters ....NDA ...this is how every professional chooses their own paycheck over the team

Not sure if they need "praising" for it as it's them who's created that level of loss in the first place by allowing incompetents to run the gaffe and allowing  money to be consistently wasted like water over the years.

However I can't see the harm in acknowledging the level of contribution over the years. Whether it be £15m or £20m p.a. that's a hell of a lot of money to me. If you dont think that's a lot, that's up to you.

If they'd been putting less in over the years also presumably we wouldn't have been able to run as big a wage bill and wouldnt have been as competitive. I think we're seeing that now when in addition to the Court proceedings the tax laws have allegedly changed to our detriment.

So I see it more as their contribution as to be acknowledged rather than praised If they'd employed better people over the years and achieved a lot more success on the pitch for the same financial input then that would have been praiseworthy.

And you logically belief they repeatedly do this gaffes and continuously employ and keep guys who are producing these gaffes and reward them ...and still manage to run every other business successfully without such detrimental gaffes ...if you do ...

    GOD BLESS

I'm still not really sure what you're on about, I'm fairly sure the Venky's haven't "set up" these Court proceedings it looks like they've been foisted upon them.

As regards funding Rovers from one of their other entities outside India, I'm really not sure about the legality or otherwise of that. Isn't funneling money where it shouldn't be going the very reason why they attracted the attention of the authorities in the first place?

In my opinion these court proceedings are a dime a many for large cooperation and it's bread and butter of corporate lawyers , probably motivated for different outcome but ROVERS suffer for it and convincingly used as a reason to strangle the life out of us supporters.

Again this is all my personal view

I don't understand what that's supposed to mean.

I can't see why Venky's would invent a series of events which paint them in a desperately poor light and which involve them having committed acts of illegality.

They could just say "We're not prepared to put in the same level of funding anymore"

Didn't Mike Graham reproduce Court pleadings which related to the finances?

Simple question ... Let's say ure running a business empire ...vested in different business across the globe with subsidiaries having subsidiaries ...and one business is in dire need of funding , would you site a court case and strangle it further or arrange through your subsidiaries funding or find a possible temporary sell of shares solution to a 3rd party for funding or get a interim stay order which is very very common.

Again in my view we're facing death by thousand cuts ...and i'm praying to god i'm wrong ...and i cited the snowball and protest to be the tipping point...AGAIN as a supporter i pray this is all my imagination

I know everyone likes to blame the owners for everything (and recently with good reason) but this is one conspiracy theory that doesn't make sense.

Why would Broughton take this deal right up to the dotting the i's and crossing the t's stage without seeking authorisation to go ahead in the first place?

Because if you wait for go ahead from india just to change the effing curtains in the board room...the transfer window would be shut ..let alone a transfer ...so the MO is do everything including putting a X on where to sign ...then shove the documents in a bottle , throw it out in the INDIAN SEA and hope the ROYAL asses have thier servents pick it up and put it on a GOLD PLATTER exactly between the time they shit and someone is getting ready to wipe their fat ass to sign ...miss this window ...START ALL OVER AGAIN on different player

That's our transfer process approval in a nutshell in my opinion

An interesting theory, but if that is the case, what would this mysterious shadow owner stand to gain from running the club into the ground? Unless someone can enlighten me, I can't see this "someone else" gaining anything financially from seeing us tumble from the Premiership down (possibly) to League 1 or lower. I still believe that Venkys were duped by a certain agent into buying the club, and now have no idea how to extricate themselves without losing face in India. They have no interest in the club or its fortunes, they have not set foot in Ewood Park for 6 or 7 years and they do not appreciate the fact that owning a football club, particularly one with our history, is about more than just paying the bills. As a supporter for over 60 years, they have left me in a state of despair as to the future of my club.

Going back to my original point, if the shadow owner gains nothing from owning us, then what do Venkys gain from owning us.?

They are keeping us in championship as this is the sweet spot of being a factory for players , and if there is financial shenanigans it will be overlooked and never investigated. When we hit L1 , how quickly we returned ? Every time there's a remote chance for playoffs , we will be restricted in January ..nobody in india cares or watches us and our plight does not appear in thier newspapers or news channel.

    I genuinely hope i'm wrong

Correct, the plan would be harder in the prem as the academy lads wouldn’t get the minutes to progress, in league 1 they wouldn’t get the value, so tread water in the championship forever + stay under the radar. You’d think we would have made the playoffs at least once under Venky’s. Every time we get close we cut back when a bit of investment could get us over the line.

As i've always said ...the venkys are just figure head and someone else is running the show , venkys are in it for advertisement of thier brand and showing huge expenditures overseas ...the indian court is nothing but smoke screen .... if actually ure not a supporter of the ruling regime they'll strike you personally and your locally listed operations not peanut overseas operation. And top notch lawyers can go for interim stay order or such or funnel monies through other foreign subsidies as share sales or investment .... but against all logic ..as a fan we still praying for someone up there to grow a conscience and see the plight of this once top run club ...

The Indian authorities are notorious for moving at snails pace. It took them 10 years to identify the Neville mansion remittance scam. The club could be in the National League before they've concluded their investigations.

No bro...they move at a desired pace, depending on the defendant , there are things like interim stay orders to facilitate the defendant ...Do you know how many such cases ongoing , the billionaires are not stopping thier business ...Let alone one on foreign soil..so this is pure PR BS to keep this charade going

It's really now up to the Indian courts and Government than our owners. People seem to be ignoring the part of the last judgment where the judge mentioned he would expect us to cut costs inline with our present situation.

Bro, do you sincerely believe this ? Indian courts and government .... this is all just a PR story ...venky's would have enough outside india. Especially in middle east and europe ....and getting a stay of order is definitely not that difficult ...PURE UNADULTERATED PR BS in my honest opinion

Do you remember the myth that was trotted out with some regularity about Venkys from 2012 to 2021 each transfer window that if we were in the promotion shake up they would undoubtedly 'go for it' and bankroll what we needed to 'get over the line' and the only reason they hadn't up to that point was because we had never been in a really good position in the table to strike?

Their antics (or lack of) in the last two January windows have proven that to be false, another Venky myth that is free and easy to spread with vague future promises of doing things but with absolutely no intention of it actually coming to pass. I'm glad that particular one has been torpedoed. They were never going to bankroll it and they never will.

Of course their stooges on the ground, desperate as they are to shield the owners from blame, responsibility or criticism for the organisation they own, control, finance, continue to do their best to concoct various reasons and excuses in a desperate bid to lay the blame for this elsewhere, but I think even the most patient and trusting of people have seen through it by now.

If you aren't going to back your manager with the team in the position it was in 2022 and 2023 then you never will. And that inertia has cost us at very least a play-off position in the last two seasons. The managers did their bit, the players did theirs, they were let down by owners who take no interest and have no intention of providing the additional backing needed at the right time to haul us over the line.

We've had FFP rules, we've had 'not the right time to do business', we've had 'players moving goalposts on demands', we've had 'club secretary forgetting how to do his job', we've had 'Football League asking unnecessary and unexpected questions', we've had 'Indian government bullying poor Venkys', we've had 'CEO and owners rep decide to travel to Birmingham for a cup replay rather than ensuring more important business got done at Brockhall' and I'm sure there are other examples of the nonsense they come up with to try to explain why money doesn't go out and good signings don't come in.

It just doesn't wash anymore. I'd have a lot more respect for the people working there if they just admitted the truth which is the owners don't care and the budget is set in the summer and spent with no chance of an increase.

Myth ? What myth ? The moment we went down and still had that lip biting RAT still incharge ...i gave up...but as a supporter against all logic we are believing ...Only ray of hope ...Supporters use the WREXHAM game as i presume its televised due to the netflix attachments and embarrass the hell out of them and their country ( i know how bad its to suggest this ) but in their political climate and upcoming elections , they will feel the pressure if it garners media attention ...will be good if local MP joins in blaming loss of revenues for local businesses due to our exodus and owners affliction . Maybe a "SAVE OUR CLUB" Movement or we just sit and be a championship club with our CEO collect his coins of silver.

Was watching liverpool fulham last night where Cairney, Reed and Tosin were on display for Fulham and Elliot involved for liverpool and thought about doing a slightly different 11 of players we've had since 2012 now playing in the premiership. Got depressed when deciding between Raya and Kaminski and gave up.

As a rovers supporter, we're going through anxiety ,depression , abandonment , trust issues , rage and number of other psychological issues ...Worst is hope ,faith and belief

I think it's more about not letting Lenihan, Rothwell, Brereton-Diaz, Ayala, Dack, Nyambe etc walk away for free.

We have to be realistic - the plan is to build a solid financial footing to operate from. We clearly can't rely on these dodgy owners to foot the bill every season, and even then we get into trouble with FFP 'cos our crowds are naff and we've historically let players walk at the end of their contracts. We complain about Boro / Hull etc spending loads of cash - well they've generated said cash through player sales.

If, for example, Carter is sold for £8m in January and O'Riordan is brought in as his replacement for £500k, that's exactly the way the model should work. You've then got £7.5m to pay wages / pay for the Academy / invest in other player transfers.

Its a paradox ... you can't have a solid financial footing and Ambition to be a Premier League Club... If ure a trading for survival model, than ure a producer ....you create players and sell them at thier prime or slightly before ...manage the team performance dip from selling them and await the next calf trying to be the prized bull. Yes it's the perfect model for championship club but never to PL.

I've always said these nutjobs want us in championship but not L1 as its the sweet spot ... lesser media attention for thier shananigans ...i don't even belief this whole crap of indians courts ...venkys are magicians in money matters ...We are where they want us to be ...But as a Fan of BRFC i hope to god i'm wrong

  14. I might get shot for this ...but in my opinion Trav out is a brilliant decision and will result in our turn of form. Our recent from is not due to our inability but rather some kind of mental issue within the squad where some shrugging of shoulders and faces of fustration and i could swear on one of the defeats i saw trav was smiling ,like some kind of vindication. Maybe his voice is louder among the young players than hyam or szmodics ....only time will tell ...
