1. Great result, great performance, this game of football is hard to predict. 4 5 1 at home against a poor defence, them next week go to Mold Trifford attack and spank them.

Enjoy the moment but feet back on the ground for the next episode of Rovers 05/06 season. rover.gif

  2. Does anybody know exactly how many season ticket holders we have. A mate reckons we have 15400, I find this hard to believe. If we have that would make around 1600 fans who bought tickets just for this game in the home fans area of the ground. The ticket office are hardly rushed off their feet if this is the case.

Dont think it could be possible to change admission prices this season. But come on next season make it £15 to any game next season for members , you have preference for Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool tickets if you come to at least 5 other games. Season tickets priced accordingly. Non members three tiers of prices as per which cat game they are, say £20, £25 ,£30 with away fans paying the non members price.

OAP and kids tickets priced accordingly. Would we get more income than this season, I suspect we would as a large amount of season ticket holders are currently thinking bugger this for entertainment at these prices, we can have an extra fortnight away in the sun for the same price.

Sorry got a bit off the original track:

HOW MANY SEASON TICKET HOLDERS DO WE HAVE PLEASE ?

  3. I dont remember seeing Brad make a save, apart from Owen putting the ball wide in the first half, they were nothing til they scored, but us playing Bellamy up front on his own is crazy especially in a home game againsyt a team that are struggling and have their first choice midfield out.

For christ sake Mark 4 4 2 at home, whats the point in having 4 strikers at the club if we only use 1.

If this get men behind the ball continues at home games then the crowds will stay away in bigger numbers. Next 3 home league games nothing to bring the casual fan in WBA Charlton and Birmingham. Might be a few extra through the gate for the Brum match just to see how Savage handles the Blue nose fans.

The Sunderland match is Boxing Day, cant recall the last time we did well against the Mackem to dont get excited about that game, the law of averages says it could be Sunderlands first win in the top flight for.............

  4. That game totally sums up why people just arent going to live matches. Pay £32 to watch that !!!!

Im a season ticket holder at Ewood and evn i couldnt get excited about that game. What chance do we have getting the armchair fan to cough up and got to a live match if thats what they get for thei money.

Apart from that please with the two debutants and Lucas Neil wish he was English!!

  5. Yes Savage is an average footballer, but everything he does he does with 100% effort. I would rather have him than a player who plays when he wants to. Savage is also a fans player, he likes a bit of banter with the fans and is usually smiling unlike some of the miseries. Remember football is about entertainment, its a form of showbusiness.

As for Waz why should he be banned? I enjoyed winding him up on a thread about the bother at Villa Park, hes only a kid, totally harmless really. dont think he likes being called Waz though!

Personally im glad that Savage wont be playing for Wales anymore, it saves him getting injured. tinykit.gif

  6. Agree entireley. Why this couldn't have happened over the summer I dont know.

    343352

this couldnt have happened over the summer cos WAZ wouldnt have been at Villa Park headbutting bricks !!!!!!!!!!!

Cant wait for the next episode of WAzz and his mob. tinykit.gif

  7. most of the stuff on ebay is stollen anyway smile.gif

i have that info from a well good source cool.gif

u can spot the fake stuff to easy

    343304

Hope your source of info is not the thieves!!!!

As for Waz none of those shops he claims to shop at even sell SI.

  8. lmao since when has stone island been chavwear? your more or less saying anything thats coming from a good label is chav wear...... get a grip

    and IQ of a chimpanzee

    GCSE

    b b b c c c c d d d f (r.e)

not bad for a chimpanzee thumbs-up.gif

    343292

You seem to be real touchy, i too wear SI and as for the IQ of a chimpanzee, I had a real University education .

Waz how do you afford SI, do you go out mugging old ladies or do you only buy snide ? My calculations show that £5.75 per hour plus spending 70 big ones in going to the match to get bricked, dont leave a lot left for a visit to Life in Manchester, sorry i forgot no doubt you also spend a wedge on white powder to stick up your snout. Stick to the fake stuff on ebay you wont have the IQ to spot the difference between the real clobber and snide gear.

  9. oh god you two really are enjoying trying to be funny lol with you uni geek jokes awwwwwwwwwww gender benders

Graham you gay im not goin on train to bolton i dont think lol going with g/f  ph34r.gif but we will see lol plus got to miss man utd game cuz its some family thing were i meet the family lmao hahaha gutted

    343259

Scared of going to Bolton with the lads are we Waz, should also go to Man U theres loads of chav shops in Manchester.

  10. I wasnt at Villa so dont know exactly what happened, but this all stems back to all seater stadiums coming in to force. In the old days you could soon move away from knobheads and in the end all the knobheads were together, so the only people they ###### off were the coppers. Nowadays in a full stand you are stuck with the guys who have seats near you.

Nothing wrong with going to an away match havin a beer, havin a laugh, taking the pissout of the locals, and vocally supporting your team. But when your behaviour pisses of the mums and dads and kids who are there for the same reason as yourselves, thats out of order.

My wife and I used to go to most away games, but got fed of some of the antics and now the wife wont go. Bolton away a couple of years ago, some @#/? who thought he was hard, was walking around the top tier picking fights with his own fans if they wouldnt sing

In the past i have been a bit of a @#/?, i have had my fair share of fights at football and I have known many a hooligan from around the country, but I have never known such immature behaviour from people who claim to be 20 years old with a University education, as i have heard on this forum. Also if these guys think they are Blackburns finest, thank god football violence is a thing of the past, because watching Rovers would be a scary hobby, cos they sound to be some of the softest I have ever heard of. I also wear P&S Lacoste SI so please dont label every football casual with these children on here. When are the school holidays over ?

  11. bwuahahahah "does the council pay your bills, does the council pay your bills" sorry but im on 5.75 an hour 2.25 over minimum rate smile.gif

    342560

You are a highly paid little executive arent you. £5.75 an hour sounds like a quality job to me!!!!

  12. Kuqi is better than Dickov: purely because Kuqi gets on with the game, instead of whinging and moaning at the referee at a constant rate, which in turn gives the team a chance for some continuity in its play.

It's a good thing Dickov got suspended when he did.

    341540

Its about time somebody wrote to the FA asking for Dickovs ban to be extended for the sake of Rovers fans !

  13. I cant understand why the Geordies would want to sack him, in my opinion he has done a great job long may he continue.

I cant really understand why Shearer would want the job, if you want to start in the managemant game surely its better to start at places where you are allowed a few mistakes, rather than at a club like the barcodes. Their hordes demand instant success, they would only turn on Shearer if they had a poor couple of seasons.

Cant recall the last time Newcastle had a good season, for some reason their fans think they have a divine right to a CL spot every season, perhaps they should think that considering the amount of money they have spent over the years.

  14. Still in shock after just watching it again on Football First.

I am really confused about where OUR Lucas Neil has gone because that certainly wasnt him yesterday.

Charlie Nichols on Soccer Saturday was saying things like - wonderful passing from Blackburn - Great Team Work.  I thought that he had gone mental but then I watched it and thought I was going mental.

Well done lads, play like that every week and Ewood will soon fill up.

The only dissapointment for me was Kuqi not getting a goal - he had enough chances.

    340591

Wouldnt it be nice if we lost the bully boys tag and became the team who score great goals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. rover.gif Just got home from Morecambe, nice start to the pre season pleasant sunshine and a decent crowd. Hard at this stage to tell how the players are going to fare this season. First half i was impressed with Tugay,s fitness level, he seemed the fittest player on the park. Bellamy and Dickov both looked bright. I was impressed with the young right back. Second half, what impressed me the most was Kuqi, not scared to have a shot, always keen for the ball, and yes he held it up well, even if his first touch was occasionally lacking. His goal well he took it very well, he got some space ran in to it and hit a good shot. Our defence looked shaky in the 2nd half.

I live in Bradford so dont always know whats going on at Rovers, but where was Savage, Amouroso, Thompson, Gresko. Hope they arent carrying injuries already.

  16. We've had some great forwards and some absolute stinkers, I wish I could place a bet which he'll be grouped with biggrin.gif

    330312

rover.gif Give the guy a chance. He hasnt exactly cost us much has he. We have had quality players at Ewood (Yorke etc) who when it came to work and effort were not interested. Give me a workaholic any day. His work rate should leave gaps for our talented striker who is also a worker. Im feeling pretty good about the season.

Marcus Bent isnt the most talented striker in the world but he works bloody hard, he isnt doing a bad job at Everton is he.

  17. Bellamy is a very good footballer! He's also a loudmouthed, arrogant, pompous little sh1t! If Hughes can keep him quiet and sort out his attitude problem then I'll love him, but I need time before I can accept him fully.

    329999

These are my sentiments also, very excited about having a quality forward with pace, but whenever i have I have watched him play my first and last impression has always been what an arrogant ######. Can a Bellamy change his spots !
