  1. I for one think we should keep him AND give him a run in the side, apart from Dickov and Emerton he is our topscorer in the league. Two goals from three starts aint so bad, the problem is that he dont get a run in the team.

Hughes threw him on for the pompey game and he scored only to be brought down to left midfield the next league game, and when he scored against brum he was brought off at halftime.

So if you look at stats the Stead and Gally should be sold.

  2. your club has never done anything wrong ? except 95% of your matchday staff is asians talk about racism, isnt the joob good enough for white ppl in blackburn

Is it a bad job for asians?? But you only hire white people i suppose.

  3. On fan size, yes they are bigger. But that just goes to show what a useless and badly run club they really are.

    badly run club ?

we are the club making yearly profits of over £5 million after tax

wonder how much debt your is club is in considering you cant fill the grounds for 85% of the games and u have being paying players stupid money who simply dont perform, you have more foreigners in your reserves earning 30k per week who dont wanna play for you than aston villa

and to round it all off you been messing birmingham about for the past 3 weeks with 3 different bids

you could have quite simply come in beginnning of january and offered £3 million, the club publically stated that was his valuation considering the long term contract but you messed us about as did savage

nothing to do with the owners of birmingham city, nothing to do us wanting to keep him, ofcourse we want to keep him but you have only just met the valuation of player after your 3rd bid

savage knew how much blackburn needed to pay birmingham for his services, the owners of birmingham city knew as did your owners but you were messing arund with installments over five years, what financial sense does it make paying for a player after he has retired

you really think our owners are gonna let a player leave for an initial down playment of £500k when it prob cost £500k for savage to sign the new contract in terms of agent fees and singing on fees

you offer us £3 million you can have him or £2.5 million + the rest in installments he is yours

    simple as that

now stop being a bunch of bitchin little school girls and get over it,

The whole issue from birmingham's view is that Savage should pay respect to his contract, but that didnt matter when Bruce signed for you did it?? Im not going down that stinky road but just a thought, in my view putting in a transfer request must be the same as resigning like Bruce did at palace.

  4. If you look through what John Williams are saying i get the feeling Rangers took a long shot, they only made the bid as they didnt think we could pay.

    From Footballrumours.info

On the remaining money owed to Rangers from Ferguson's move to Blackburn, he added: "First of all the outstanding sum is not as much as £2.5m but yes, there is still a fee which we are due to pay Rangers as part of Barry's transfer.

"But it's a non-issue because there is no question that we will not pay the money.

"We have a contract with Glasgow Rangers and we have no intention of reneging on it. That amount of money is due in August of this year and it will be duly paid

  5. Firstly he isnt being paid as he refuses to play for the club

    secondly

"all Sparky had to do was make it known that he had "virtually given up on signing Savage" and it brought you scampering back to the table. The fact is we've played City like a fiddle from the start; it's a bit late to start trying to save face now. "

slight difference as your club is stumping up the £ 3 million for savage in one big sum, nothing to do with blackburn dictating negotiations, if i remember u only offered us £500k plus the rest in installments over 5 yrs,

and finally you make out as if he is a world class player when he aint, just a 30 yr old who is coming to the end of his career, you dont see any other clubs coming in for him even though he has handed in a transfer request

remember andy cole & dwight yorke both aging world class players who were being paid silly money each week, this reminds me of savage, cos your geting him on a 4yr contract worth £30k a week,

imagine ferguson and savage playing in the centre of midfield, both arguebly plaing for the worst international countries this side of the world, what a combination !!!

like i said no bluenoses want him back and we really want him to leave now as there is better midfielders in this country who can actually pass the ball forward instead of backwards and not have to run around a pitch like a headless chicken to control the midfield

I really hope you sign him cos if you struggling to score goals now then you aint seen anything yet

Just makes me laugh how you so-called supporters of birmingham react on Savage, before he handed in his transfer request he was a hero and heartbeat of the team. Now he is the worst player in the league and plays for the shittiest country in the world, i suppose Giggs is ###### also because he plays for Wales.

  6. At least Savage had the guts to hand in a transfer request.

Ferguson doesn't have the balls to come out and rubbish it ro confirm it - which reflects very badly on him.

Ferguson has already stated that he is happy at Blackburn, but some people make him a coward in two seconds.

  7. ever since everton tapped him up over 18 months ago he hasnt been the same player, his consistency and work rate have been in question

Does every club trying to buy Savage get the tapped-him-up label??

  8. I hope I am wrong but the signs are that Ferguson has played his last match for Rovers.

Alex McLeish, citing the example of Boumsong's move from Rangers to Newcastle and Savage's impending transfer to Ewood, today warned Rovers that the offer for Ferguson was final and that "player power" would secure his return to Glasgow by the end of the month.

McLeish said: “All the managers are in the same boat these days. If a player digs his heels in then it can become difficult because of undermining the squad morale.

“Also, you might not get the top performances out of the player that you would expect. Managers are definitely caught between a rock and a hard place these days in a situation like that.”

Cant see why we would accept 400,000 on the table for a midfielder we have paid Rangers 6.5(well 3.9 if the 2.6 isnt paid yet), if we accept it then we paid Rangers 3.9 in a strange loan-fee for 18 months. Not just bad business but plain stupid.

And i also want to hear Ferguson say straight out that he wants to leave, otherwise i assume he wants to stay on.

  9. Dont my head off for being a bit sad but in football manager, i know its a computer game, contracts work on this basis: For players over 23 when a contract is signed he has two years in which he is under the complete control of the club- they can decide whether to allow him to talk to other teams. After that period the player becomes "unprotected" and other clubs can make offers which only have to be varified by an independent board (transfer tribunal?) and cannot be turned down by the club.

Now, i have never seen the second case actually occour in real football but equally Eidos or whoever makes the game are utterly obsessed with accurate portrayal of this sort of thing. Could this be what Murray means?

Aint it the last six months of the contract that players are allowed to speak to other clubs at their on will, doesnt need to go through the players club. Like Gravesen now, i seem to recall that he discussed with Real first and then the clubs made up the fee.

  10. I spent the day reading different news reports claiming Ferguson going back to Rangers for a cut-down price, why?? Has he been so bad that his value is down or what. If, and i say if, we are to sell him back to Rangers then the fee must certainly be around those £7.5 that we paid for him, if not then keep him.
