Most people could see that loaning out Travis in the first week of the window was not a rational or football-motivated decision.
It was short sighted and done purely with financial factors in mind. The opportunity to get his wage off the books until the summer too enticing and so the deal got done.
In hindsight it is of course even more ludicrous when you factor in the inevitable Adam Wharton departure, failing to spend any of that money on a replacement and then changing manager.
But remember not to look at things here through the lens of football - decisions at BRFC are not made with results and performances on the pitch in mind - they are made with finances and individual targets for the likes of Pasha and Waggott in mind, and it is clear that those targets do not relate to footballing achievements.
So we mere fans may be baffled, I suspect the rest of the Championship are too, but that's because we are football people, who want to prioritise football and results, whereas the owners and their employees are not, and never will be. One look at Ewood Park and what has gone on here over the years tells us that.
Travis fell out with the manager

Venky is the nickname of the Rao father who founded and built it up.
So Venky is Rao.
The folk running the show now are actually Dessais. The daughter and her husband.
The two Rao brothers have equal individual votes with the husband and wife but take a much lesser role in operations.
Madam is effectively the big boss.
If that is the case as you say they should be Executive Directors, as it stand only Balaji is an Executive Director

This.
The £300K salary that Waggott leaches out of the club is clearly his price for taking the shit from fans, whilst keeping the light off the cockroaches from India. He is a symptom of what is rotten at the club, but the underlying cause is the conditions imposed by the disinterested, disconnected, despicable loons of Pune.
They ALL need to go.
VENKYS-RAOS-DESAIS-SHADOWSERVANTSATEWOOD OUT!
F-WAGGOTT OUT!
Nail on head, the Punatics putting £20 million in a year does not make any sense and is an extortionate amount just to save face. It just does not add up. The Indian Government should request a UK enquiry as well as in India

The military are exempt from any climate regulations. Essentially wherever they set up shop they just absolutely poison everyone and everything around them.
The other stuff you mention is just symptoms of the capitalist system.
Capitalist system! Even Labour are promoting growth as the saviour

Actually the biggest polluter on earth is the US Military.
But yes I agree with what you're saying here. An economic system that pits humanity in a battle to the death with nature all so a very small clique of ultra wealthy people can gain even more wealth whilst the rest of the world is annihilated in a toxic holocaust doesn't seem like the direction we should be taking as a society.
How did the Military get to that point ? Thru growth, the internet itself is one big polluter and last time I looked used over 45% of the worlds electricity consumption. Do we really have to buy the latest iPhone and other mobiles every 18 months because they design in obsolescence?

The biggest polluter on the planet is growth. All Governments talk about growth as the panacea to fix economies i.e. their unsustainable spending plans. Growth for any Government equals increase in tax revenue and the kicker now is increase in growth generates the opportunity for “green” tax revenue.
We are all being played while the elites and super rich try to justify their excesses by buying carbon credits what a load of bollocks

We keep slagging off the "Venkys" but it is the Rao family that have ruined the club.
The Rovers manager was prevented from speaking at his regular Friday presser yesterday but has spoken today.
Last summer the "project" that he had agreed with the owners changed completely.
He had just missed the play offs on goal difference but was told there was no money for transfer fees or wages, the budget was considerably reduced.
Under these circumstances he offered to resign and leave the club without any reimbursement. No, the owners wanted him to continue so he moved his family to the Ribble Valley and continued to work long hours.
This current transfer window the budget was cut again and despite selling a 19 year old star player for £18m+ there was no money for transfer fees.
The owners, the Rao family, are being investigated by the Indian government for fraud, perhaps even money laundering.
They are not allowed to transfer money out of India without permission. The court case is ongoing.
When the Rao family bought BRFC they didn't know a club could be relegated. They were allegedly conned by advisors.
The Rao family are stupid, ignorant, dishonest and dishonourable people. They are an embarrassment to their family and country.
Let's forget Venkys and go after the real culprits?
Nailed it JohnD

The Venkies should be a banned word, they will never leave the club until it gets personal and losing face in India is a major event. It’s the Raos that should be targeted/referred as

I like Lambert alot. Thought he could take our club on. But like I posted before that the time to judge him is next season. After a full pre season where he can put his full ideas across and get the fitness level to where he wants them to be
Not wanting to @#/? on your parade Chaddy but do you know who Mowbray's agent is ?
