  1. i have just heared alex ferguson has been spotted eating chips and gravy with JW !!!!!!!

How can anyone eat chips and gravy - it's so grim.

It's like pie and peas - never has anything caused me to trumpet voluntary so often.

Grim ohmy.gif You must not have very nice chippy teas!! Strachan for the Rovers please tinykit.gif

  2. What does my head in is Souness leaves him of the tour of Germany then from no where he is our 2nd striker behind Stead. And after the West Brom game most people was singing his praises. He has done nothing wrong apart from maybe not chasing a few balls down against United. But how can he be so far down the list 1 minute then starting the 1st game of the season the next with Souness doing an interview on Sky Sports News saying he is not for sale he wants to keep him etc. Then out of the blue he is sold to Birmingham. I know many people wanted him to go but weather you like it or not he is a class player and will do well at Birmingham and to make it worse he will probably score against us and stick his middle finger up at Souness ( which i wouldnt blame him for ) and have the last laugh. Good luck Dwight thanks for the goal at Highbury 2 seasons back!

  3. I saw the White Stripes in Belfast on Wednesday night. Absolutely fantastic! blink.gif

Is there album or a single got "elephants" in it. Thats all i no about The White Stripes my sister listens to it but i cant say i like it. Dance and Rap for me.

  4. From what I have heard Pedersen and his agent were at Ewood late this afternoon to finalise the deal.  I would expect an announcement tommorrow morning that he has signed.  I think that so long he is registered with the FA by 12pm then he can play on Saturday.

Knowing Rovers he will be registered at half 12 tommorrow and miss the game.

I doubt it. He has probably already signed and they will formally announce the deal in the morning.

I really hope your right rover.gif

  6. .....It`s all a matter of finances. Each year i consider buying a season ticket, i also have other things i need to do in life...i.e...i need to buy two new double glazed windows for my house, i could do with a new suite in my lounge, i may want to go on holiday & i am thinking of putting an extension on my house. Each year i list my 'things to do' in order of priority.

If i think i can afford a season ticket, then i will buy one.

I`m sure other people have similar things to consider. Football can be a very expensive passtime.

To be honest i think getting a Rovers season ticket should be on top of everyones "to do lists" because if you love the club you would do anything to get your hands on a season ticket.

  7. I bet Flitty got all excited when Souey said he was gonna be 'stripped'

    laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

Flitty has been a very good captain in my opinion but Ferguson for me is the right choice to take over. And you never know this news might kick start Flitty back into action and be better than last year

  8. If you play defensive for 87 minutes you usually get punished. We would have had it not been for Lampards goal.

Bringing a small, fast striker onto the field of play and then hoofing it up in the air (Rovers style) for him and owen to win is useless. Why not bring someone on who was going to win it in the air. Heskey maybe?

Bringing on a defensive midfielder in the 52nd minute. Nice one Sven, really take the defensive game to them.

Neville, Terry, Sol and A. Cole. You're true lions, you battled for every ball, you ran after everything that even got past you. HEROES

The midfield 4, Gerrard - Battled, couldn't do much else. Scholes - Made his usual clumsy challenges, created a little bit. Lampard - Quiet at times, never made a true impact. And finally, David 'Media Darling' Beckham - That my lad, was a disgrace, you're supposed to be this england captain that leads by example and not one that shouts and rips into everyone. If thats the example you want the rest of the players to follow then we shouldn't have bothered. You've been off all tournament and will need to re-think your future at Real (If it's affected his game, surely it has!?)

    Come on you Czech

Totally agree Tom. But whats your opinion on David James because i thought he was shocking??
