Great result! Everyone played well. Evans, Bennett, Armstrong, Mulgrew all had great games.

Only minor downside is I just don't get Brereton at all. What's he point of him? Tall but doesn't win in the air, doesn't like to get in the box, dodgy technique, plays wide but doesn't have pace. Want him to succeed but I'm bemused at present.

We need someone who can legitimately backup Graham

    He ain't a winger though.

Have they stopped booking dives now? A few matches have had blatant dives that were not punished.

Think they've been told not to bother. Moses did 3 or 4 dives in Nigeria's first game without being booked.

Same goes for waving imaginary cards and doing the VAR sign to the ref.

  3. if you just buy a wii (no bundle) it will come with one remote and one nunchuck. an additional remote costs about £25 and another nunchuck costs about £15 but not all games require the nunchuck. you can probably get a bundle that includes a couple of games and an extra remote and end up saving a little ca$h.

as for the cables i don't think it's that important as the wii doesnt do HD. and you should have no problem with the router. if it's a wireless router you can connect the wii that way, it has wireless built in. or just run a cable, the xbox shouldnt cause any issues.

i can't really say what games to get, because i haven't been able to play mine much thanks to my little bro being addicted to mario strikers online.

  4. i have mario strikers charged ordered as well. should be with me in a day or two. if you want to find your wii console code click the envelope icon in the bottom right of the wii menu, then click create message and then click address book. the code should be somewhere there, but if it takes you to your address book you might have to go a page to the left to find it. don't know why they made it so difficult to find.

  5. thats my console code. i think when you exchange console codes your mii characters can go into each others plaza.

i don't have mario strikers charged but a friend has it and i've played it quite a bit. i'm not very good at it though so i usually get beat online. also the lag doesnt help but i think that's my fault because im playing wireless.

  6. there's a guy who plays for wigan called ryan taylor. i used to watch him a couple of years ago week in week out when he was at tranmere and he was awesome, although it was in league one. he doesn't seem to be in the first team picture at wigan right now so i don't know what has happenned to him but i think he could really do it at prem level, and he must still be pretty young, maybe 22 or 23. sign him up i say.

  7. Do you have a the Jap import? Is it easy to follow or will my complete lack of Japanese understanding ruin it for me?

yeah it was only ever released in japan. but you don't need to understand japanese at all. there is a translation of the menus here.

i also have elite beat agents which is more aimed at a western audience, but i don't think its anywhere near as good. it's full of cheesy crap like avril lavigne & the village people.

  8. i've been playing as rovers on fm2007 and it seems to me that there are way too many injuries. it's rare that a game goes by without me picking up at least one.

it's january now and im about 14th in the prem. not going too well. i got through the first uefa group though. galatasaray are next. crystal palace stole mark bowen to be their manager, but i got 1 mil compensation.

anyone care to share their tactics because my slightly modified 442 just isn't doing the business
