Fair enough if you don’t include Ferguson as a manager, and maybe Everton would release him without compensation, but it still means the other 2 names don’t stack up. Though as Sharpe mentions that could change
There is a growing feeling that the club could yet approach an in-work manager, having done only once during the eight managers appointed by owners Venky’s.
Think it would take more than somebody putting a tenner on him for the odds to come in that much. Don’t remember seeing his name on the odds list at all until today. Could be wrong though
Throwing names out there, this would be a hell of a coup, just turned down the Borussia job Farke is linked with because he wants to manage outside the Bundeslliga

Just find it utterly bizarre and mind boggling that owners who constantly fund the club to the tune of £20m - £30m a season are unwilling , it seems, to pay a relatively small amount of compensation to either pay off the current staff or for an in work manager. Can’t get my head round it
Why go anywhere on a 12 month deal as well? Probably explains the number of clubs he’s had although have to admit wouldn’t have minded him here. Got to be all out for Farke now, if not him Manning would be my choice
Not sure we can’t afford him, can’t see him being on mega money at 2 middling Portuguese teams. His demands could be sticking point (ie staff) though it shouldn’t be

Back to Carvalhal then … Although it does also say Ferguson and Ainsworth have been interviewed which tends to detract from the truth of the story
Here’s another list of 8 that it could be
Farke, Carvalhal, Bilic, Jokanovic, Wagner, Dyche, Nuno , Benitez.
Granted, it won’t but just as likely as the first list.
By the way Nixon linking us with Beale this morning. Kudos to Chaddy
