Seen this sort of view start to crop up a bit recently. Reminds me a bit of the stick Savage used to get.

We're better off having a Travis who can get stuck in and break down opposing attacks and pass the ball over than having another ball player who is less effective defensively.

For me a huge part of our run so far has been down to the Travis and Rothwells excellent partnership. Id hesitate to change it.

I like trav . Just feel he needs to stick to what he's good at. Think he's starting to think he's more of a footballer so to speak than he is.

If he was quicker and just looked for rothwell or bucko straight away I think it would benefit us massively . He tries to go on little runs . Final ball is poor . And we either loose possession or he has slowed the move right down.

Nyambe is also guilty of this .

Savage used to get the ball and give it straight to tugay for example. He knew his limitations as a footballer.  And because of that it worked

Also not saying we need another ball player. Just highlighting the difference between someone who can put a foot in but also uses the ball well.

Obv the reason he's linked with big money to the prem

  2. Not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this , but for me the weak link in our team is travis . Never been the same player since his injury. Always slows it down to much when the ball is given to him .

Could see the difference today in quality between him and O'brien.

Both do the same job but one can pass and move the ball efficiently.

His shithousery is great and he always gives his all . But for me if he had a ball winner who could pass we would be even more dangerous on the transition. Numerous times we could have broke yesterday and e either passed back or sideways or took 5 touches.

Also the majority of our offsides come from him holding onto the ball that few seconds too long before the pass comes.

Come on Gav, Tesco can't read the room at all.

If it was 15 across the board on Sunday there would be 20k + on.

    100% agree .

I remember being a kid in the 00/01 season.

3 junior season tickets for £99 i think Plus had meal deal vouchers included for every game

    That's a deal

Also why not deals on a pie and a pint . It's not hard. Make it affordable and people will come . Even more so if we are flying

  4. All 3 are doing great at the minute.

The things is none of these 3 move an start straight away in the Premier league .

They arnt good enough . They are just playing well in a well drilled and organised team at present.

Rothwell for example could not play cm in the prem unless you had 2 sitting midfielders.

In the championship when he loses the ball and the midfield is left wide open he gets away with it

Happened yesterday a couple of times.

But in the prem you would get punished .

You need to cast an eye on Isaac Whitehall - he's a talent. Jake Garrett is the same for me.

Really like the look of Whitehall. Big lad who can get up and down from the games I've watched this season.

Looks physically ready for mens football unlike alot of other youngsters

I know Louie has been training with the first team lately, have to wonder if maybe that's playing on his mind so he's trying to over-do things and making mistakes in the process? If so he needs to sort out that mentality cos he definitely has the ability to make it as long as he keeps his head on straight.

He looked decent until he dropped the clanger then looked quite suspect .

Maybe he's been learing too much from the first team defence ha

  7. Really good watch.

    Some lovely football .

Even with 10 we could and should have scored a few more.

Annesley had 2 nightmare moments. And cost a goal and a red card.

Really liked the look of Whitehall and pike. Ro be honest the majority of the players look quick and good on the ball.

The city full back will be having nightmares about dolan . Had him in knots all game.

Will be taking in a few more games for the u23 if I get to watch football like that.
