same here. was gutted about the recoverite debacle. didn't have the pennies for one first half of last season and by the time i did they were forced to have that monstrosity slapped across them, and i don't just mean the big blue cover-up box. a shame, the home and third kit were the first of our kits i've truly liked since the league one season.
i did quite like that lighter blue number we had first season back up actually, far more than most seemed to, but that awful betting logo ruined it. it baffles me the club can't sell some sponsorless shirts when we're linked with such businesses. obviously no thought even given to the various religious communities that don't agree with gambling etc? essentially cutting out a huge chunk of their market right off the bat? mind-boggling.
Yes this is why I cannot wear the shirt
i am not going to sport that logo

Awful decision for me that screams "we can't attract a decent sponsor".
Even without the moral implications the logo is hideous and likely to ruin any shirts we get.
Agree fully with everything you said here
another season I won’t be picking up the kit

He did very well on his debut for Ireland against Ukraine the other week in the absence of usual starters Duffy and Egan
he had to wait a long time for his first cap

Exciting appointment
For me though it’s a bit unnerving that Lenihan is out the gap and the club are open to offers for Brereton (I know his contact is up next year)

West Brom played Sam Allardyce football to its perfection. That style of football in this league and the way they played it will guarantee promotion. I look forward to watching WBA v Fulham.
I can't understand why so many criticise our players. I thought the whole team played well except maybe for Dolan who should have forfeited his place to Butterworth as someone has already mentioned.
We all know our weaknesses at our club. I'm just pleased that the players have the comradeship to compete and enjoy their football.
I know it's Venkys and Mowbray but, somehow, I feel that something has changed.
Theres obviously a good spirit there

I know it’s light hearted, but this forum would be more enjoyable with out the constant digs at Mowbray.
I was ready for him to go after last season, because with the squad we had the final position wasn’t good enough.
Bit give the man his credit when it’s due. He was ridiculed for saying we need our goals to come from elsewhere like our CB now Armstrong gone, and what happened tonight? They both scored.
Ayala his signing who is ridiculed because he’s from Boro, has been Superb first 3 games. It was frustrating he was out last season, and he’s prone to it, but if managed and kept fit is one of best defenders in league.
A surprise win, especially when it went 1-1. WBA look so good I don’t expect much from that Saturday but let’s give it a go!
Agree with this, the constant berating of Mowbray isnt enjoyable

I hope we get a deal with Kappa, Hummel, Under Armour, Macron or maybe Puma. Adidas, Nike and Umbro are as dull as anything.
Last decade we seem to have just followed Umbro around - going right back to 2007 with only a couple of seasons with Nike (who inherited the Umbro deal when they bought them out).
About time we go and get a manufacturer that makes more of an effort and provides a good range of stuff at some sort of reasonable price.
you got your wish
Season 2022/2023 Where will we finish?
