  1. Anyone going on the 12:35 train to Burnley Central ?

It's gonna be close to kick off, get in at 1.00pm,

but it's not to far from the ground and will be great in the escort ?

I might be joining you on that train but its going to be a last minute thing depending on how rough I am from the night before but hopefully I might get a couple of jars and then jump on the train tinykit.gif .

  2. Do they do the England tournament tickets and if so when do they go on sale? I know they are not through yet rolleyes.gif but I would have thought they would have had some easy to find details on getting these tickets. Can't see how fifa can expect you to stump up the money when you don't know who the hell is playing. China vs Peru anybody unsure.gif ?

  3. its quite expensive though isnt it, £60+.

I got the pack a couple of weeks ago and its a bloody rip off! £75 to be a member when you are not even guarunteed a ticket. Looks like I'll be using the black market for around £80 a match.

  4. Well I like it, good harmless fun.

Although I do prefer (Adams Family tune) -

    Your sister is your mother,

  5. I got it sorted the other day at a place called the canterbury hotel. Il be getting tanked down Portsmouth on Saturday night. Not looking forward to the open ended stand with the weather as it is at the moment.

  6. The trains from Chorley (preston line) tend to leave every 20 mins on a Saturday. Wouldn't bother with any of the pubs on the Middlebrook as all of them except one inside the bowling alley will request to see your match ticket before entry. Going for a drink around Bolton train station isn't really a good idea but I'd recommend the town centre for a night out. Other than that there's good old chorley for a nice quiet drink unsure.gif !

  7. As soon as I heard about the abuse he recieved I knew that the media would totally blow the whole episode out of proportion. Now because of one tanked up lad, eveywhere we go we are all going to be labelled racist thugs. How i hate the bloody media.

P.S. When are we holding our next kkk meeting? ph34r.gif

  8. He was a lazy striker who quite simply didnt do the business. This wasn't because he didn't have potential - look at what he did at both Villa and United but because he was a big headed so and so who used us for a free meal ticket. I suppose I would be accurate in saying he was on 60k a week and with his work ethic and attitude which quite clearly that he didnt give a toss about the club. It takes the average football fan three years to earn what he makes in a week and he's stood there with that big bloody smile every time he squanders a chance, cant be bothered chasing the ball down or lost the ball etc.... tinykit.gifmad.giftinykit.gif See what I'm getting at?

  9. He looked well pis*ed off when he came on. He appeared to be telling Steve Bruce what had happened.

Just looking ahead, if proved what are the possible implications for the club- we would be hit hard if proved to be correct.

I would think it is unlikely to lead to any serious action against the club. Two idiots is not the same as 30,000 Spaniards constantly doing it for 90 mins.

Add to the fact that one of those who was alledgedly involved was ejected, shows the club tried to tackle the issue as it happened.

Steve Bruce by trying to draw parallels to the mid week international is either trying to divert attention away from their performance, or is slightly mad.

You've got to think how the tabloids are going to react to this. If anything, this has happened at the "perfect time" for the media because now they've got a good old story to completely blow out of proportion - nobody knows exactly what happened yet, so in the papers tomorrow all rovers fans are going to be branded neandrathal members of combat 18 because DY makes these claims. So much for the family club tag mad.gif

  10. NO! Hes gone, get over it

LOYALTY! As i told the lad who i discussed this at length with on piccadilly station on saturday night. Cant believe im bein told from my own fellow supporters to stop singing songs about the past. HES BLUE, HES WHITE, HES FCUKIN DYNAMITE, TONY PARKES!!! tinykit.gif

  11. Bit harsh to call Berg a has-been, Linny...?

Isn't Watt playing for C. Brugge either? Isn't he quite talented?

Probably is seeing as he had some good spells with Short in defence but I was referring more to his speed. I'm still having nightmares of seeing him a couple of years ago against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. ph34r.gif
