I get point C was somewhat in jest, but sorry I'm not a "casual", nor bonkers, and I never said Eustace is a Messiah; I said he's the best option I think we could expect.

Alex Neill is another Mowbray, making a career off a couple of promotions over a decade ago, who will maybe steady the ship, tread water, flirt with playoffs then run out of ideas.

Eustace is a more forward looking appointment who, albeit in a shorter career, comfortably led Big Club to safety when favourites to go down, had them playing good football & in 6th place when sacked by uninformed useless owners.

Anyway, sounds almost certain it'll be him in the dugout on Saturday, I hope you'll support him.

I hear you. Wasn’t calling you a casual, I meant in the terms of ‘everyone’ in my post.

Disagree on him being more forward looking, small sample size, and from what I’ve read Birmingham fans suggested he was play for a point and hope to nick a goal.

No thanks, not good enough imo.

And I am really, really not bothered about reason C. I want what's best for Rovers, not what winds up our "rivals" more.

Sure, point C was tongue in cheek.

But anyone who thinks Eustace is a better coach than Alex Neil is bonkers.

Eustace didn’t even do that well at Birmingham, just because everyone thought the Rooney appointment was terrible, casuals jump on the bandwagon and think he was some messiah beforehand.

Yes, I'm sure he's bring in another 4 or 5 Hirst's Ennis's or Telalovic's or Wahlstedts and life will be rosy.

Maybe if a chunk of the money was spent bringing in a proper DOF we'd stand a slightly better chance.

Gregg oversees recruitment processes. He doesn’t scout the players that’s what the recruitment analysts do.

    Clown. 👍

  4. Seems strange for us to let him go without a bidding war that will no doubt happen in the summer.

We in no rush to sell (4.5 year deal) so it’s strange to let him go at the first bidder.

CPFC is not a great move for him stylistically. Roy doesn’t play football, they bypass midfield, and will probably mis-profile him as a 10, as he’s ’good on the ball’.

Think his dad and agent have Mis advised him if he ends up there

Looking at this tweet I think we might be in yellow today. Ironically this is one of the games in which could have with any of our three kits.

Don’t know if it’s just me, but I get pissed off when any team (not just rovers)

    A) play in their away kit, when the home could be worn.

    B) similarly, play in their third kit, when their away kit could be worn.

  6. Womens football has real potential if:

They reduce the goal sizes to emulate the average women gk size, compared an average male gk size

Reduce the pitch sizes to emulate womens cardiovascular output compared to mens.

i believe if they made smaller nets, and cut 10-15% off the pitch, it would be far more entertaining.

What's quite annoying though, is the cost of my daughter's ticket.

She's still at college, but turned 18 last week.

Her ticket is therefore £189, versus £86 if she wasn't yet 18. That makes no sense.

I’m probably wrong so please feel free to correct me, but I understand the 18-23 price hike on the 17 and under, is due to them ‘assuming’ you’re working a full time job as an 18+ year old, and can therefore afford an extra £90 due to having full time (albeit likely low) income.

    As I say that’s just a guess.
