Sorry I'm a bit late to the conversation. This shop is or was in Blackburn and owned by my uncle . In the late 1950s when I was about ten, I went up to Blackburn with my mum, dad and sister. Dad was one of seven brothers and one sister. My uncle gave me a glass of sarsparilla but I didn't like it. He sold kits to make sarsparilla posting some of them abroad I think that all of their generation have passed on now.
