The dolan situation reminds me a lot of the nyame situation.... Player thinks he's better and worth more than he actually is. But if that was the case then a decent club would have snapped him up immediately.

Can see his career nose diving and him becoming another player that doesn't realise how good he's had it here

He’s waiting for a top club to get desperate for bodies. I don’t think he cares about game time. Just wants the lavish lifestyle. AIM too high above your level, expect to leave your imprints on the bench

Hyam, Travis, Tronstad, Cantwell plus Ribeiro or Pickering at left back..add Hedges. Plus hopefully someone like Dramah at right back. More experience to replace Brittain

But if we want to play Ismael's way we also need to sign the players who fit that style. Ismael wants pace, athleticism and ability to get up and down the pitch

Lost Batth who was the difference maker between all our centre half’s and so far not replaced. Brittain is going, Dolan has gone. That’s our right side of play completely gone, The side where most of our attacking threat has come from. Players need time to integrate and there is inexperienced holes all over the pitch. How can you not see what’s unfolding here.

We have been bringing players from overseas in the last 3 windows.

We still have plenty of Championship experience. Hyam, Carter, Wharton, Pickering , Cantwell, Hedges, Forshaw, Travis and Tronstad. Would include Brittain but looks like he is off to Boro which i am disappointed and gutted about.

Ismael talks about the profile of player he wants and each signing fitting that.

Carter and Wharton Injury prone. Leaving 25% of the spine with championship experience. Doesn’t look good at all.

I agree with Selling Pears and Buckley.

    I would sign

    • similar type of right attacking full back with similar qualities to Brittain
    • Bringing in keeper to complete,
    • sign Ethan Pye from Stockport cos I don't see Kapuadi and he didn't look live he wanted to leave after today's post game celebrations
    • sign a right winger permanent
    • bring in a striker on loan

but we can get sign players from overseas who don't need ESC like we have with De Neve or Gueye

Bringing players in from abroad needs to be done over a few windows to try balance the squad. We are losing a lot of experience here. Half of our starting 11 have experience in the championship and a few are injury prone. Lose 1-2 players through injury and we will struggle massively. The depth of the squad will filled with unknowns and kids. It’s a big ask for any manager to deal with this situation. There’s no excuse, there were some good players available on a free snapped up by our competitors. Slow off the mark again

If we've bid on a winger, who's in his last year of his contract, then I hope it's Parfait Guiagon. This is purely speculating on that we're only looking at players in the Belgian league 😂

The guy is an absolute rocket of a winger!

Watched abit of him a while back. Gnonto double

Hiroki Akiyama Is due to leave Albirex Niigata to go over-seas

Labelled as currently one of the best passers in japanese football. He's a defensive midfielder who has just one year left on his contract...Valuation around 800k on transfermarkt...Wonder if we're looking at him as a replacement for Baradji?

A lot of hidden  gems in that league. Highly regarded by the sounds of it and not expensive. Most reviews about his progressive passing. Something this team is crying out for

We supposedly needed a cover right back and this new lad was billed as that. Nominal fee, one to develop.

So if we cant pay a fee for another one having sold Brittain then theres something up.

Agree, unless club did things the right way and brought in CB replacement before selling him. Anything the club states needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Shouldn’t be like that, just what they’ve made us to think all these years

How do you know they aren’t going to revisit it?

Jackson’s comments when deal stalled suggested that something should be done over next few days. Would that mean renegotiating fee and clauses. More tests to see how long till it heals or probabilities of it getting worse. The safe bet would be to get a specialist opinion which could take a few days depending where they are based. Should here more in next few days but it didn’t sound completely dead
