  1. before i moved to holland in 1998,i was at the homes games, and half - majority of away games, since i moved here i try to make it quite regular..there was two particular seasons when i went to all the home games(apart from saints of that sesason)and 50% of away games.i even finished nightshift one fri, woke my lad up(who was 2years old then),went straight up to schiphol airport got a flight over to speke airport, landed in the morning, got to my mates house, had to get the wifes some stuff(typical).got about 4 hours kip(lad got around 6 hours).up that morning at 4am to get the away travel coach down to cardiff!..great day out!lad was famous around the town centre as a lot of rovers lads recognised him in the let from this particular story...but shame about the result!...gotta be mad sometimes to support rovers..but i when its in your blood it stays..lad is 4 now and hes beginin to get right in the football now..happy dayz :rover:

  2. "I love 1-0 wins"

that says it all about how they will approach the game at Ewood.

Rovers have to approach this game in the sensible fashion, and I dont see the French coming to Ewood to attack. They will probably adopt a 4-5-1 formation, sit back like the French do (and did in the wars) and hide as much as possible.

3-0 Rovers, and that is an early prediction :brfc:

3-0 prediction?whose gonna score for us then?90 mins offside macarthy?my grannys faster than nonda?cox in the box...ooops sorry fox in the box?or even bring roberts on with a broken toe(still quicker than nonda)...if we do score itll come from midfield or the back four cos the front line is as bad as ive seen if for some time now.

  3. Hell yes, you are lucky

everybode know Feyenoord was a lot better yesterday..

but anyway good luck the rest of the yaer..

I can tell you one thing blackburn supporters are much better than Newcastle United supporters.

what a drifters are that... hahahaha

bedankt voor de plezier ..mvg cloggy...pas op de vvv venlo volgende jaar!!!!!!

the match is over, admin you can remove my account now..

thank you for your guest kindness

    ciao greets Frank

and you know it there is no club like FEYENOORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I was proud to be a rovers fan last nite. it was great to see and hear >2500 fans at an away game in Europe. It was also rather staisfying to tell my friends that 2500 rovers fans were going over to Holland, so much for our poor support!! thumbs up to all that went and im sorry top hear some of you had trouble at the ground :tu:

thinks adam might have been the pulling factor too shabani <_< ...nonetheless it was awesome!and we did sing till the cows come home (or were it till the dope wore off) :P

  5. Morten ;)

Well, in Holland it's always possible to get beer into the stadiums. Not sure if the UEFA-rules are common in every country, but if they've forbidden that, Feyenoord are so wrong. Reading through some Feyenoord-boards now, and they seem less than happy with the throwing-scum, as they've been warned and fined before and another punishment awaits them. Shame Morten didn't score, I would love to see his celeb ;)

hi morten...yes thats true that you can get beer at any ground in holland as i also follow vvv venlo and ive had a few beers at alomost every ground.but uefa rules are bigger than dutch rules and if thats true then feyenoord yet again are in the stew

where in holland do you live pal?im guessin near rotterdam itself?ive been in limburg now for 5 years but lived all over holland for 5 years too..do you get to the rovers games in uk?

  6. Their penalty was a correct decision, it wasn't intentional but he did bring him down. However the red card was ridiculous. And we should've had a penalty as well.

So now we'll miss Tugay for 1-3 games? Great...

One positive from this game though was Michael Gray, I thought he had a very good game and I hope he can keep it up.

it wasnt the correct decision :) if it was correct then your sayin he deserves the red card,it was incompetent refereein once again from the officials...and its gettin boring now! :(

  7. My hatred of the Mancs goes back to the early '60s. Coming from Darwen, Burnleh were not quite the object of hatred so much as the big city club at the other end of the A666.

Since then we have had reffing decision after reffing decision from reffing Manc-loving referees.

Cannot see us winning this one though- the Mancs will be desperate to get back to winning after the Copenhagen and Southend reverses.

Rovers 2 Mancs 3 if we score from our chances.

where did you live in darwen phil?i was brought up there too..i lived on the ashton estate.up by the park hotel.and on balmoral rd(off watery lane),not all at the same time of course!...im guessin your around the same age?40+

btw back to the game 1-3 or 2-1..cant make my mind up :rover:

  8. bolton to go into a 1-0 ht lead due to the boyz still bein uefa cupd hungover...sparks puts some venom back into them durin the ht interval...benni and nonda give the bolton defence a torrid time 2nd half....2-1 rovers benni and nonda :rover: bolton brag about there massive followin stll forgettin that it was the 15 quid tickets what made them come to ewood and not the performances :P

  9. eh? Are you for real? Try to employ logic and retain a sense of perspective jimmy. One of my ancestors* perished at Rorke's Drift! I dare say he would'nt have minded at all if all them damned racist Zulu's had just stuck to name calling from distance!

*bit of journalistic licence employed.

Me neither (speaking as both Ginger and 'stout'! :D ) and I'd much prefer a bit of sledging to his studs raking down my shins.

Storm in a teacup and not worth bothering about.

Most on here will share your opinion rock steady, but on this occasion and somewhat unusually SAR made a valid point.

tell that to my nigerian wife thenodrog..shes been constantly name abused and spat at and treated like an inhuman person since shes been in europe...dont start that lets turn a blind eye to europeans doin that sort of thing...btw i am employin a logic and a perspective view of things...i see it 1st hand how europeans treat blacks and many many amny times iv held my tongue and my views....rorkes drift?...how bout the dutch slaughterin a whole tribe in south africa?how about the brits stealin gold and minerals form west africa killin countless in the process for what?because they were unprimative?

anyway if its the topics about racism then i wouldnt put up with a little tw@t behind me constantly givin me verbal abuse..benni did well to hold himself...anybody on here be happy bein called a white piece of trash or maybe inferior white boy for 90 mins??

  10. hang on a minute here....youve all now agreed what he said to benni(which i find unbelievable?)how the hell do you lot know what was said ?how do you lot know that the polish player never said a stronger word of his colour?or called him more than a black so and so?and why the hell should any black player tolerate any ###### take of their colour?or any other snide remark bout their background?do you not think blacks have suffered enough without them comin here and gettin abused?

  11. aaaaah, yes argyle!..what an absolute cracker of a game,i was about 14 then and a skinhead(hehe)..top kick off before and after the game and durin the game(remember the argyle flag gettin burnt in the nuttall st?think the early evenin telegraph showed the t@ssers beatin a old man up in the middle of the town centre at daft o clock in the morinin..thrillin game to watch..what a comeback!couldnt wait for the gates to open after the final whistle!needless to say it was a war on the ewood car park and all over the a666..weh hey!

  12. just want to say about the feyenoord game...as ive been in holland for a good 9 years, maybe ive got the experience to tell you that these fans (not all of them)are scum,i dont wanna start any panic buttons here so ill make it brief..try and stay in amsterdam for the duration, get the train directly to the stadium on the day, then get the hell out of there after the game..it doesnt matter with these mindless morons if you have got an history with them or not.just be careful guys try and keep out the big ben pub if you can thats always a flashpoint..im takin my 4 year old lad with me and my pregnant wife so as you can see it asnt put me off,but try and stay in large numbers and enjoy the game 1-3 to the rovers
