  1. re;fife rover..there was no way on earth that i was upset when i posted,AGAIN i was being light hearted when i replied,tbh..the lucas neill saga is borin me,hes been a good servant to rovers and despite his faults i still rate him highly(im talkin about seein him plenty times LIVE),but if he does wanna pursue another challenge then so be it,life goes on!,im very confideny sparks will get it right again for the start of the season and during too.with a manager like sparky..great times bein a rover!btw..who took the aachen pics?me and the misses and lad are on a few of them.top drawer!

  2. massive hole? He's told 2 people. One a dutch guy who is unlikely to ever see a live Rovers match and the other, a drunk who will most likely have forgotten what he told him or probably spoke to the wrong player.

    :D

if your refering to me greggyk,im actually born and bred blackburner, sorry ive confused you,and also i get to a lot of live games too pal.and btw this is to ALL the rovers fans now...i was actually makin a light hearted bit of fun about it...im not that stupid to think lucas is gonna tell me what hes future is.it was just a question most people would have asked him...or maybe i shouldve asked him, how is bondi beach good this time of year or maybe what size shoes do you take??....next time ill keep the meetin of players to myself eh? :tu:

  3. More's the point, Is Lucas Neill?

as i live in holland ill tell ya a similar story,i went to the aachen game,i was in block A,i was near the players dug out, with my wife and lad(you can see some fotos of them trainin and my lad with david bentley, zurab, and jay roberts on roversmad),anyway back to the story..the folowin day i was in roermond(retail park)holland, and low and behold the entire squad is havin a shoppin day,as i spoke to the majority of them a finally bumped into lucas neill, and i too ask him what will you be doin for the future?"" i will be signin a new contract what else?"hmmm!so that clears that up.......... :(:wstu:

  4. That was just lovely. Seriously though, how nice it would be to send this pack of prima-donnas home with their tails between their legs. If we apply ourselves as well as Wednesday night, cut out some fatal sloppiness (Tugay?) and have a fair ref it's certainly possible.

The thought of the 'dynamic duo' of Kuqi and Bentley reunited makes me shiver. I just wonder if Hughesy might shake things up a little by playing Emerton from the start and having Pedersen in a forward role. It certainly livened things up on Wednesday night, we looked infinitely more threatening than with the formula of hoofing balls up to Kuqi, who either failed to win headers or mis-controlled the ball.

Coming over from Dublin for this one, fingers crossed for some sweet revenge.

are you the same johnny i met at the pension in darwen.after the fa cup semi?i was the one in the local rag with me lad comin from holland rolleyes.gif

  5. i honestly think we will beat the mancs 2 0r 3-1,and i do hope peter even gets to come on for the last twenty as he was brill on sat.the return leg is the tricky one..but i would still go out and attack them..play them at their own game.. rover.gif

    COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!! laugh.gifwink.gif

  6. yes thats right my friends.its a semi final!

i too YET again are makin the long trip with my 3 year old to the semis,i was the "crazy one"who made the 1600 round trip from venlo, holland with my lad to the fa semi, after finishin night shift straight to the airport..and the rest youll know as it was well documented in the let(my boy was in the pic)

the day then was brilliant.apart from the lacklustre performance from us.the atmosphere was electric,i honestly didnt hear the @rse the whole game.

back to this cc semi, the problem is in my opinion theres too many games during this period and with the ticket sales more or less all comin out at once it is very difficult to pay out for all of them, and i for one expect the home games in the league to suffer crowd wise with the semis just round the corner, alas im fortunate enough to afford the semis(both)and i few in between, but it will still take a big chunk out my paycheck as i have extra to pay for the airport and train costs too.

all im sayin is fair enough if you cant afford it,but otherwise try to make that little extra effort,we all love the blue and white halves!
