Any other players having problems since the 1.3 patch? Single player works fine, but as soon as I enter a multi-player game, it crashes to desk-top. Also the ping on servers which was less than 50 pre-patch now are in the hundreds.
Any suggestions?

Chuck in Vice City too. Never really got to grips with San Andreas......a new born baby has probably had something to do with that over the last year or so......

Just out of interest Jan, how many teams do you follow?
Whilst I don't particularly bear Souness any malice, I would happily see Palace relegated to the Conference. I remember "Glad All Over" at Selhurst Park, 89.

How anyone can slate Dickov for being "crap" after costing 150k and putting in some top performances (often on his own) beggars belief.

How I remember the Burnley t-shirt doing the rounds in the Summer of 1991....
Gary Lineker said no
Mike Newell said no
Teddy Sheringham said no
Paul Stewart said no......
Even the man from Del Monte said no!
Good to see the Clarets had their finger on the pulse!

Can anyone recommend this game for the PSP?

Burnley play practically every year pre-season at Stanley. About 90 % of the crowd last year were Clarets, so there's no issues about allocation/segregation to worry about.

Interesting to see Dunn in the boxes at the BBE yesterday with some hangers-on from Great Harwood. Some one did a hand written sign "Dunnie has signed today." Any truth?

As much as I dislike the guy, Stuart Pearce would do a job at left back in your relegation xi. BTW Ricky, can't remember Friedel being relegated.........

Probably still fiddling with their inflatable bananas and deluding themselves that they are the biggest club in Manchester.

Any chance of a book of condolence being set up?

Amo here too. I think the Leeds game was his first back since the injury. If I remember rightly, Short and Todd were both appalling at the spineless defeat at Liverpool the week before.
-
So two midfielders left?

I suppose Joey Jones could have been added, but all the Defence seems to be sorted!

I know what you mean. I think Pearce should get rthe job because he is the best personality for the job; a man who will demand the best and damned well get it. He will feel every defeat and relish ever victory. I would say he has done a very good job at city. If they hadnt have gone on this horrible run of form, I'd say people would probably consider him a slightly more credible option. I would risk giving Pearce the job on his limited managerial experience over somebody like McClaren for these reasons.
In any case, I think he is a very tactically astute manager, certainly more so than Erikkson.
However, you'll see that I said that I don't consider Pearce a realistic option.
Take your point, but didn't people say the same thing about Kevin Keegan and his tub-thumping?
Quite a few City fans at work would gladly see the back of Pearce at the moment. Mind you, they did the same to Peter Reid after three games into a season.

Sorry TCJ, I don't see how anyone can seriously champion Stuart Pearce for the job.

To make matters worse, how bad was the M6 on the way back? Quarter to sodding one we arrived back!

Any chance of Souness going to North End now Davies has buggered off to Derby?
