  1. 20th July - Stadion an der Kreuzeiche, Reutlingen, Germany

Here's some pics of the above stadium - here

Just been looking through this site and some really interesting stadiums on here. If you have time worth going throught the countrys and you can find stadiums which make the Dingledome look like the Ritz.

  2. bit more info, rovers are also in a 14 team tournament playing 2 games @ 25mins each way, think they play those on the wednesday and friday but not 100%.

think boblingen are in the 3rd div aswell,

Its only a 6 team tounement group stages on the 20th July Final; is on the 23rd. You are correct about the time of the matches.

  3. There is nothing confirmed apart from preston away and the friendly against great harwood the rest is rumours!

Sorry Mr Williams but you emailed me last week confirming when the matches in Germany are taking place.

Or maybe you are Mr Souness.

Someone else who obviously knows more than the people who run the club.

I think you will find HERE Souness has already confirmed we are going to Germany.

Where and when are we playing these friendlies in Germany?

I was told not to say until it is announced but it is between the 17th and 23rd with a local game and a six team tournement. Oh and it takes place in Stuttgart.

  4. Cheeky sod tongue.gif . Yes i've booked flights for me and Scotty(although i'll leave the surprise of where i've booked his to till later). Haven't booked a hotel yet as was waiting but that one you mentioned looked fine to me. Just let us know if you're booking in there and I shall do likewise.

Should be a good do anyway and am looking forward to it.

    What flights are you on?

  5. Has anyone booked any accomodation yet in Stuttgart?

I have been seaching alot and that one i suggested earlier is still the cheapest i can find.

Manchester Blue/Scotty have you booked your flights yet?

Glenn are you thinking of making the trip?

    Independent Report

    Location

The hotel is located in a quiet side street in a central residential area and within walking distance of all the city centre tourist attractions and shops.

    Rooms

The bedrooms are medium sized and simple and modern in design. They are very bright due to the good size windows, white walls and pale pastel coloured soft furnishings. The beds are made from dark wood and are standard throughout. The bathrooms are quite small as they mostly contain only showers, but both they and the rooms are in very good condition.

    Restaurant

The restaurant is located just off the lobby on the ground floor. It is also furnished in art deco style but like the lobby is modern and clean.

    Exterior

The exterior of the building is in a clean, modern style. The hotel has a pale yellow facade similar to the other buildings in the area.

    Lobby

The lobby is small and a little dark due to the black Polished marble and rich, dark colourscheme. It is very modern in style, but also has hints of art deco style about it.

    General

A nice hotel with friendly service and with good connection to the centre (07/03 MW)

  7. Excellent news on the interest free direct debit front, really well done to the club on this one.

I shall be taking advantage of it and upgrading to a more expensive seat.

Try getting one facing the pitch this season Rev. biggrin.gif

Make sure it is near the pitch though, we dont want you clambering down rows of seats to start on Steven Carr next season.

  8. Burnley v Rovers!!..bet Lancashire police are looking forward to that possibility!!!!!!! ohmy.gif

Can just imagine the scene at Lancashire Police HQ-

"big news lads...Rovers youth team are playing Burnley reserves on a training pitch at Brockhall. They're expectating two men and a dog. Cancel all holidays and grab your riot gear...we're going in...."

    Ill be there!!!

  9. Think it would make it better if the majority of Rovers fans stayed in the same hotel rather than scattered all over the city.

Had a look at hotels and found one at £28.50 per night, but it is 1km from the city centre, and those who went to Ankara know about staying in Hotels far away from the centre.

    1km isn't far tho.

    Tis when your p155ed
