  1. SCF08 - have you seen the mighty Tugay's goal from yesterday??

Yes I've seen it. Was a great goal but he'll never get one like that in De Kuip...IPB Image

Here are our goals from last Saturday when we beat AZ Alkmaar 3-2

  2. WHO R YA!!!

We're the boys from Rotterdam !!

You'll remember us for the rest of your live after Thursday...

Advise for Rovers fans entering the stadium:

The only way to enter the away section of the stadium is to go in VIA the Station at the Ground.

This is where the turnstiles are.

From there you go through a covered walkway that then drops you down into the segregated area.

Even those travelling on the coaches will be dropped off at the station at the ground and gain entry that way.

Here are 2 examples of pictures :

When you're on the bridge and walking down the stairs (picture 1) you will be asked to show your train ticket. When you've gone through the checking zone you just have to keep walking straight on and then you will be walking behind the fences in picture 2 which will lead you into the tunnel and the stadium.

  3. 4 more day boys.

My beloved Feyenoord have gained a lot of confidence over the last weeks with 5 wins in a row. Especially the game last Saturday was magnificent and we managed to beat AZ Alkmaar at home (3-2). We got pretty much outplayed footballing wise but everything else was brilliant and probably the sweetest victory of the last 2 years.

We have a few personnel problems coming Thursday and our best player Jonathan de Guzman may not recover in time from his injury.

    Our possible Line-Up might be.....

    ______________________________________Timmer_______________________________________

    _______Greene_________________Lucius__________Andre Bahia_____________Drenthe______

    _________________Buijs_________________Derijck_________________Hofs_________________

    _____Kolkka________________________Charisteas_______________Huysegems___________

Only thing that could be different is when Tiendalli plays right back and Greene in Central Midfield. Derijck will then move to the bench.

I'm really looking forward to this game just as you guys and I think the atmosphere will be outstanding...IPB Image

  4. I'm finding it difficult to find any definitive travel arrangements from Amsterdam to the ground. It's straightforward from A'dam Central to R'dam central stations, but from there is it better (and safer) to change trains to Stadion station, or better to take the tram? I've heard that it is even possible to bypass R'dam Central by using the train via Den Hague. Could any of our Dutch friends provide any advice? I've been to Feyenoord three times before and there was trouble everytime ( including the Dutch Cup final, versus Den Bosch when the game was abandoned 5 minutes before the end due to a pitch invasion!) so I'd like to get the travel arrangements sorted.

    Hey mate...

If your travelling from 020 to Rotterdam than you should take the train to Rotterdam Centraal station and change to platform 6 or 7 where trains will depart to Rotterdam Stadion. I could give you the exact information next week as it is not yet available on www.ns.nl

If you need any more info just ask me. Im a Feyenoord fan.

  5. If Kuyt is out for saturday it just means that Crouch comes in. I'd prefer Kuyt to play instead of Crouch, he's probably a bit easier for Oijer to play against, he knows all about him from matches in the Dutch league.

I suppose we can hope that Bellamy's court case goes 'well' this week so we might not have to play against him either.

Well , Kuyt has scored lots of goals against Psv so I think Ooijer is quite happy that he's injured.

  6. PASSE-PARTOUT THUISWEDSTRIJDEN 2E RONDE UEFA CUP

Feyenoord - Blackburn Rovers: donderdag 23 november 2006, 20:45 uur

Feyenoord - Wisla Krakau: woensdag 13 december 2006, 20:45 uur

    Prijs passe-partout: van 27 tot 63 euro

This are the ticket details for Home fans. Tickets have gone on sale and the prices you see are for 2 games. So 27 euro's are the cheapest tickets to see 2 matches and 63 most expensive. That's very cheap....

  7. Is Anybody watching the Holland match tonight?

    I am.

Holland are 0-1 behind after a cracking goal from Martin Petrov. Dirk Kuyt of Liverpool has also gone off injured. The bulgarian pitch is extremely wet and it's pouring down with rain...

Ooijer hasnt had much to do yet. Holland are dominating play and it's 4 minutes to half time.

You can watch the game below (it's a legal link from the Dutch TV channel Talpa)

  8. Nice reply scf08 I am definately not worried, My ticket is guaranteed !

I am concerend that people think the dutch supporters will be out in numbers, I dont think so as I expect feyenoord will have bagged 6 points before they entertain us.

I am looking forward to the trip and the game as I genuinely feel Rovers are well equipped to deal with the way feyenoord play.

    Sorry dutchy, 1-0 Rovers :huh::brfc:

We'll have six points when we play Blackburn ??

My beloved Feyenoord plays like ###### this season. We havent got a half decent striker after selling Kuyt to Liverpool and Kalou to Chelsea. I'd be extremely happy with 4 points after 2 games... :D

I also doesnt really matter how many points we have because Feyenoord are selling ''passe-partout tickets'' for the Uefa Cup with a nice discount of 15 %. Passe partout tickets are for every home game in the group stages. Feyenoord - Blackburn will definately be sold out...

  9. For feyenoords last euro game there was a crowd of 22000 in a stadium which holds 55k. Who thinks that Blackburn Rovers are going to attract a crowd of around 35k or mor e?

Lets be serious here Rovers are not a top drawer attraction amongs the likes of manure or liverpool. Of course EVERYONE will get tickets as we will be allocated a substantial part of the stadium.

    :brfc:

Believe me , Im a Feyenoord fan and any competitive game against a british opponent is Sold Out. We played Lokomotiv Sofia in the first round. That's not very attractive but British teams are... B)

Pre-season friendly against Boro was almost sold out , and against Chelsea the stadium was completely sold out.

    We'll be there. No worries...

  10. Would that be Pierre van Hooijdonk of Celtic fame? He was a good player for Celtic!

Yes that's him. He was a good player for us 1st time round as well. He brought us the Uefa Cup in 2002...
