Can't believe they've left the venkys sponsor in blue whilst everything else has been whitened.

Looks to me like the Venky's logo has been photoshopped on. No sign of it in the video and the photos would have come from the same shoot. Would look odd with just that one bit of colour on the sleeve.

Although whether they'll have a white logo patch made up for the shirt is particularly doubtful. Can't see any further official shots of the shirt yet.

Wrong how? I said they should’ve put the request in last week as they were flying out the door, A fair opinion. I also said ‘all’s well that ends well’.

And as for ‘wrong again’ glass houses and all that..

Surely they did have the request in last week to be able to have them at the ticket office today to sell?

Or did they send them anyway in case we did ask the question. Either way I'm sure the club knew by last week that they'd have the extra allocation to sell but just didn't publicise it.

Went earlier in the season and they spanked us, we never got a kick, very good side. I’m also still traumatised by the loss in 91 or 92? Nicky Marker missed his penalty?

All that said we are a better side now and this is winnable. When are we queuing for tickets? Is that still a thing 😂

Ive a feeling Jason Wilcox missed a pen that year - could have been in addition to Marker though.

  4. Don't ticket prices have to be agreed by both teams?

I know thats the case in the FA Cup where the revenue is split, I'm assuming the same happens here?

Plus there's a minumum you can charge in the FA Cup, think it starts at £10 for round 3 and may rise through the rounds but don't know for sure.

Having said that, with the money on offer in the Prem, its hardly going to dent the coffers at Forest if we offer tickets for £10, £15 or £20

Surely everyone's not that naive to believe that it just so happens that we can't agree new contracts with the 3 players that will leave at the end of the season?

It can't be that all 3 are being ridiculous in there requests, surely has to be a huge part of it being poor management and a shit offer of wages?

'Poor management and a shit offer of wages' would, in my view, be offering more than we can afford. You've only to look at the mess Derby find themselves in, amongst others, to see how easy it is to fail in the gamble of promotion.
I've no idea what has been offered, nor what we can afford but surely the 2 are closely aligned?

The ref assistant on the JW side must be so disappointed or plain blind.

    Great win against Wilders bullies.

    Well done Rovers.

Considering he's been the linesman at both the World Cup Final and the Champions League Final, he had an absolute stinker with some of the decisions he made. Just glad they didn't cost us the points.

If that is the idea I doubt they will get enough purchases to cover costs.

USD2.99 for confirmed viewing or Google. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Or they do it for free as a trial to make sure all is working well for the first game? Any issues/glitches then they can't be held to account in terms of refunds
    Or maybe not......

Is anyone on this forum bothering going tomorrow? If you are then you deserve a knighthood. Think this could be a tough game, I’d say we have better players technically going forward but I can see Birmingham running at us getting bodies in the box and being physical, in-turn our defence will eventually fold as it usually does. 2-1 Brum.

I'm going, but more of a local game for me than most others.

Been looking forward to this all week especially given Rangers are my Scottish back home team and Blackburn being the team I’ve supported since a boy and having family from nearby.

Should be on Rangers TV. Rangers have had quite. A few friendlies and started the Euro qualifiers so should be fitter than us given our lack of preparation this pre season. Fancy Rangers 2-1 as looks like we are still getting minutes into players who’ve only just joined us.

Gers are looking forward to it too:

Played for both teams? Then of course Souness who’s been at the Rangers summer camp this year. Hope he’s there today!

    Khizanishivilli

    Tugay

    Ostenstaad

    Ferguson

    Berg

    Daily

    Diouf

    Beattie

    Any more?

    ??

Plus Colin Hendry and Ally Dawson

For those who said we had nothing to worry about when I said I was very concerned about the possibility of relegation a few weeks back, if we lose to Derby and Rotherham win their game, we will be 5 points off relegation with 5 games to go.

Not really, we'll be 5 points ahead of Rotherham but still 7 clear of Reading who will be in the bottom 3 as a result.

There are a lot of teams below us who all have to win 2 or 3 games to go above us, just can't it happening - fortunately.
