  1. Cocker, I am a huge wuss when it comes to anything dark or scary and while I easily admit that I had to play Bioshock with someone in the room and with all the lights on, I think its a game that a real gaming fan can't miss. Everything about it from the game play to the controls and environment/scenery is superb.

I was sweating everytime them creatures came out when playing drakes fortune :D

  2. So finished the 2035/6 season. Most disappointing season in my long career with regards domestic trophies and finished league in seventh.

Fans are not happy although i did win the Champions league.

Board are relatively happy and have offered me another four year contract to take me to 2040, on 95k a week and a transfer kitty of 368 million pounds....i know!!! Well i didnt buy any players last season, as i felt my current crop were good enough, although they showed they werent!

RANGERS VIOLENCE BEGAN IN LATE 17TH CENTURY, SAYS UEFA

THE violence at the Uefa Cup final began much earlier than was thought, probably in the late 17th century, officials said last night.

A Uefa investigation has revealed last month's violent scenes in Manchester were directly related to tensions arising from the Battle of the Boyne, which took place near the east coast of Ireland in 1690.

It is now believed the conflict was sparked not by a faulty big-screen television, but by a series of marginal differences over the correct method of worshipping Jesus.

Uefa said the violence then continued on and off for another 180 years until it was formalised with the establishment of Rangers Football Club in 1872.

Jean-Marie Le Blanc, Uefa's head of riots, said: "The violence in Manchester has deep, complex and incredibly stupid roots.

"It seems to based on an entrenched hostility towards Papal doctrine and an insatiable lust for the blood of 'fenians'."

He added: "If we want to prevent this kind of violence we must establish a single, agreed method for the worship of Jesus across the continent of Europe.

"Oh yeah, and booze - don't give them any booze."

  4. Yeah i didnt bother with 08 either and I am also in that season until this happened:

Got to the end of the 2033/34 season and the game told me it ran out of memory and would now quit. Just after i was sacked by rovers, sacked for the first time in my whole career. Its a sad day for rovers, after i spent fecking fifteen years there making it one of the best clubs in the world.

Just before the game quit, Brad Friedel was hot favourite to take over.

  5. Just back playing this now, while i listen to workmate complaining at how hard and stupid FM08 is...i pick up where i left off, what must have been nearly 7 months ago.

And i suddenly realise why i left it all them months back....rooted in the relegation zone. Definitely the worst start and worse season in my managerial career.

Working hard at getting the team out and have had a few players meetings which have been a success or so they told me, because i am still in the bottom half of the table although we topped our champs league group.

    Anyone still playing this?
