  1. It'll be back, for the same reasons The Pirate Bay is still around -- they aren't the ones hosting the content. TV Links was just a collection of links, like the name says. This raid is a scare tactic, but just like the raids on TPB, it won't shut down TV Links for good. Even if the original operator gives up on it -- which I certainly wouldn't blame him for doing -- someone else (probably TPB, to be honest) will take its place.

Also, for those of you missing, keep in mind that it was, after all, just a linking site. The two sites which hosted most of its content (in my experience) were DivX's Stage6 and Veoh Entertainment. Both those sites are perfectly legal, by the way -- they're like YouTube, but with support for larger videos and the like. Their administrators remove copyrighted content, which is why TVL often had broken links, but it usually gets re-uploaded soon after.

  2. Isreal will grab a 90th min equaliser against Russia, meaning Eng scrape through after beating croatia-thus McClaren keeps his job and he would have met his target-qualification. We can then look forward to going out in the 2008 tourlament in either the group stage or at best 1/4s on pens! Fantastic fun....

Have you been watching "Mike Basset - England Manager" ?

  3. Things could be worse, the dingles have decided to employ "Chico" at their next home game blink.gif He'e going to get them going with their "anthem"??? "500 mlies" before the game and at half time. laugh.gif Their fans are not happy, they're telling each other to keep it quiet as it's embarrassing, and other clubs fans might laugh at them if it comes out , NEVER laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

  4. I got my Wii a few months ago when it was around £180 or so, and since then the price hasn't dropped a penny, still around the same price, some places even more expensive.

I think HMV have some for around £180 but unless you risk Ebaying a crap one you won't find one much cheaper.

As for if it's worth it, it depends

If you have friends round and enjoy waving your arms about and don't care too much for hardcore graphics, get one. If you can't live without HD and perfectly rounded people, and sit inside alone all day playing Oblivion, get a 360 Elite or PS3.

There are not too many good games out for the Wii yet but I expect christmas will be a bit busier.

Has anyone seen "Boogie"? Singing and dancing to your telly doesn't quite do it for me but if that's your thing
