  1. A tragedy. Just when you think a man has everything, a great job he's successful in, a great wife and family and pots of money he goes and takes his life. Just show none of us knows what really goes on inside Someone else's head and how they are suffering inside. God blesss Gary we'll give you great respects tonight.

  2. Managers should be banned from making public statement about refs and decision on the pitch. In the end they are human and make mistakes. I believe they dolisten to what managers say in their post match statement and are intimidated by certain, high profile managers. It must be hard to go to Old Trafford and The Emerates etc. and not be overwelmed sometimes.

  3. Chances are, if it wasn't for the influence of Jack Walker I wouldn't be a Rovers supporter. The man lay the foundations for some of my best memories and I'm sure there are many individuals like me, not from the East Lancs region, who are staunch BRFC Ambassadors. So thank you Jack Walker for giving the small town team, poor on resources but rich with history and heritage, the financial muscle to compete with the Big City clubs in this modern-day climate in which financial muscle is crucial. (I'm still buzzing over yesterday! Bet Jack had the best seat in the house)

If it wasn't for Jack I would not be a Rovers fan either...Now I'lll always be one..My Nephew is a Rovers fan too..

  4. AESF's sentiments reflect a very large proportion of this board. I agree with pretty much everything he said.

If Allardyce were to join the club, I can forsee horrible football, the club's profile going downhill, controversy surrounding events at Ewood Park and attendances plummeting. He will probably bring stability, but I don't want us to sell our soul in the process.

Great post...How many of you, like me, shouted so much abuse at himn as manger of Bolton (Especialy), and Newcastle...Now some of you want him at Rovers..No thanks. I want to see a young, English manager given a chance. Yes, it's a risk but we are good at that. What has the fact He is "Black" got to do with anything. When He played for england we did not care. Ex Manchester United??.. We are famous for takingh ex United playes and sqeezing that extra bit out of them. Andrew Cole's winner at the League cup final is a good example of that. Would you give that trophy back just because Cole played for Manchester united?..

  5. To be fair to him, we did win our only cup trophy since 1928 with him as manager...I think the fact that his abrasive personality started to ###### off most of the players towards the end of him time with Rovers was the problem...It's seems this happens every to every team he goes to...

  6. Forget Duff, he's not enough left in the tank that will offer any improvement to BRFC. He'll just eat up wages whilst lying on the treatment table.

I know this a place to air opinions but Shillitoe your's are increasingly ludicrious.

I agree once a player has left it's never a good idea to bring them back...I still don't think we should have bought back Dunny...I know he is a true Blackburn Lad..But is he fit...No...Has he played well...No...Will he be as good as he was No...There will be a bit of clear out in the squad this closed period and a few will be out...I have every faith in Mark Hughes to bring the right playes in for the next season...

  7. When he's not getting drunk and vomiting over blonde slappers in the back of a car, this vile creature is making reckless lunges with his studs up at other players.

Cole's dangerous lunge on Alan Hutton at White Hart Lane last night deserved a red card in my view. The picture below doesn't really capture what a bad foul it was.

The FA say they can't take any further action over Cole because he was booked for the foul. But we've once again got a problem with inconsistency from referees. Some players get sent off for far less - whereas Mike Riley felt Cole's foul only merited a yellow card.

Riley certainly isn't my favourite ref, but the FA seem to think he's one of the best in the country.

Gus Poyet furious at Cole's lunge

    Riley Hates us...

  8. I don't mind him leaving but it's the pack of lies he told as to the reason...He said some crap about feeling a volcanic heat from West Ham...If he had said they are offering more money and I fancy London as a new home I can forgive that...Not a load of bullshit...
