  1. In fact on second observations can you hum a melody and post it Hughesy.

I just cannot for the life of me hear one in my head for the ending.

The last line is giving me melody problems also.

  2. How about a simple song for Everton like:

    Lets all shop at Tesco

    Lets all shop at Tesco

    Na na na na

That should wind them up enough.

Or one for the doomsday people:

What's wrong with shopping at Tesco!?

  3. Where abouts is Duk? Is it expensive, what type of food?

Duk is Tapas but with a difference really.

Then menu is seven pages of A4 long and if you tell them a list of ingredients you like they will make something for you. So for example if you want a selection of food you can tell them the items you like pay £10 / £15 and they provide you with a mountain of tapas plates.

They also serve a beer made with Chillies there.

It is incredible, I can't believe how hidden away it is. In Preston it is just off Church Street, towards the Bus Station.

  4. i dont know that carol voderman was on these message boards

Mods, I don't want this thread to turn into an Infant School fight so you have my word that after this I assure you that I will not respond any more and this can return to a discussion about songs.

I just feel that it is extremely important that our friend reads the following links:

    Tenses

    Spelling

    Grammar

    The English Language

  5. i was at the games to day and alot of the fans were moaning about ince and williams and even cryse of ince out ince out as we went 1-0 down

no they pay there money to voice ther opinons

i (You started the sentence with this letter so you missed the importance of capitalisation here.)

games (As far as I’m aware there were not two games taking place simultaneously, therefore you should have used the singular 'game'.)

to day (This suggests that you are addressing the day.)

ince and williams. (These are names, we call these Proper Nouns and therefore should have the first letter capitalised.)

cryse. (Cryse, there is no word in the Dictionary for this, however I believe you were intending to spell 'cries.')

there, ther, opinons (their, their & opinions).

Who is educating children these days!? My word!

    QUOTE (Ste B @ Aug 10 2008, 14:48 ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I doubt that given your efforts that the club would be calling you.

The songs on this thread are embarrassing at best. I'm sure we'd hear a lot of "what the F***** hell was that" sung back.

Also, genius. I needed a laugh and you provided it. Also SteB. Great name.

  6. Not to rain on anyone's creativity but we've got 2 Santas now, right?

Haha good point. At first upon the mention of rain I thought you were going to justify or at least attempt to make the 'wet comment' innocent. :rover:

  7. Not that I'm prepared or able to offer better but 3 & 4 are terrible!

    Also...

    The ball's in the net

    The girls are all wet

    Nastiest lyric ever.
