Were Valencia not one of the clubs linked with BBD?
The money from this deal might bring them back to the table...
No, they haven’t ever been confirmed as properly interested in him outside of vague paper talk, and they certainly don’t have the money for him. They’re selling Maxi Gomez (central striker/no.9) too in order to balance the FFP books, but still have Hugo Duro and Carlos Andre as wide forwards, so don’t think they’d be looking at BBD even if they had some extra cash.

Wolves are also signing Guedes from Valencia (potentially great signing for them) for around £/€40 million, so one less PL option on the list of BBD suitors?

Circadian code, Dr panda.
Haha sorry I was just being facetious. although you don’t want to get in the way of a hangry diabetic when their blood sugar is dropping!

I doubt anyone has ever suffered because they haven't had something to eat for three hours.
Being type 1 diabetic, I’d beg to differ 😂

Would take anything the LT says with a pinch of salt, and can’t see why my mate would make it up out of the blue.
Fingers crossed he is ahead of schedule though and takes away a headache for Tony!

I’ve seen him out and about a fair bit in bars of Clitheroe and also Gisburne Park festival, he wasn’t walking with a limp….
My mate who is mates with him said he saw him at the weekend and wouldn’t give away any inside info about transfers etc., but was confident he’d be fit for just after the start of the season.

Maybe the "huge amount of team news" includes an injury to Kaminski while on international duty??
According to Sharpe Kaminski and Evans both need fitness tests later today, so I guess so!

It depends as to how you measure the success. Is success going to Portugal as we've done before and bringing a bus load of a dozen players back and hoping one of them sticks when thrown? Or is it different to that. Lewis Holtby is a TOP signing, Thomas Kamniski (if as effective as he has been long-term) is a pretty impressive shrewd signing for the price.
Sure we could sign some Norwegian left-back that we've never heard of, and you could call that European Scouting Success, but for me it's less about quantity and more about quality.
We got Holtby and nobody else seemed to even have an ounce of a sniff, we clearly got that right, had fingers in the right holes in the continent etc... Sure he's a known player, but you didn't hear of any other English based clubs getting close.
Wasn’t Holtby on the way to somewhere in Turkey then the deal broke down and we stepped in? (Might have got that wrong though!)

Currently based in North West, "training with Nantwich"...
Was just about to post...my mate that’s mates with Wharton told me about 10 minutes ago Ayala was in training with us a few weeks ago (like it was common knowledge) but seemingly nothing has come of it?

Looks slightly better on these photos, but agree it’s got good elements that don’t quite hit the mark when they’re out together.
Also on the first image from earlier, has nobody else questioned why the hanger isn’t attached to anything and it’s just photoshopped on to a background? ?

do you think Wharton wants to go there?
Honestly don’t know, but imagine if you were a pro footballer you’d want to play somewhere you were wanted and were going to get a fair crack of the whip, so guess we’ll have to wait and see!
