Brittains comments in press rather telling.
yeah would be expecting such comments to come from the captain but i guess the softie would be too conscious of upsetting JDT

Comfortable 2-0 win, goal either side for Johnson and Eustace.

I don’t know if anyone heard eard this at Ewood but apparently JDT went AWOL last Saturday and Eustace (or his team) oversaw training this week, and Eustace was in the wings at least 3 weeks ago.
Of course this happened...

I think we're the only club around where "new manager bounce" doesn't apply. I'm not sure many new managers come about the way ours do...

Eustace….just totally apathetic. Another journeyman and back to the level I’d hoped we had grown from. Nothing against him, I’m just totally underwhelmed and frankly, over it all. The timing of the announcement from the club and the wording is totally classless
Agreed, crap and cheap appointment.

So JDT heads for Sweden as national coach, they want him without paying compensation so this is a perfect move for both parties. I wonder how long JDT has been putting together his exit? Absolute shambles on the admin front but wonder whether JDT was focused on Rovers.
Eustace has had some experience (particularly in the Championship) but not a long track record. The plus is that he’s in quickly, that also makes me wonder how long this has been in the pipeline. I suspect JDT has continued to make noises since summer.
As a long suffering Rovers fan we will need to grit our teeth and hope for the best.
Eustace will need some luck on his side.
we could have gone for Heckingbottom, time will tell if we made the right choice

sorry if this has been mentioned already but did we approach Eustace or has he applied?
getting him on the back of a 'currently 6th place' with brum is as bad as taking rooney on ffs

He's pretty good off the ball too, but he'll have to develop both aspects of his game if he's to become a major player in the PL. Give him a couple of years and he'll have the complete package and be a regular in the England squad.
No chance if Southgate is still picking Henderson

This could be another Brereton goal scoring bet, what odds are we getting on Ennis Anytime?
See also George Hirst and Sorba Thomas
Ennis is 4/1 to score anytime.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DVX1QlWX5W4Good watch this. Shows how the entire playing style/philosophy of the club from Academy to First Team is built around having a 6 & two 8’s in midfield. So for the first team it was built around Adam Wharton.
No wonder JDT is fuming as he’s gone ahead of time and not been replaced so we’re starting from scratch again.
Do think Buckley has the ability to play that role when he’s fit though & Ayari could possibly do it too.
Explains why Travis wasn’t favoured because he hasn’t got the footballing ability to play a 6 and he’s not good enough in forward areas to play an 8.
GB is interviewed and comes across really well, he’s clearly passionate and heavily invested in the youth development model and a Rovers Academy that is a proven success.
Venky’s however are killing the entire model that GB & JDT have worked so hard to put in place because of their financial issues and cutting of the budget. Makes it impossible for us to ever progress with the Rao Family at the helm.
Bm to watch another time

Don't mind me, just popping in to make sure we've haven't signed harry maguire instead...

Where the fuck has the bite gone from the likes of JRC, Wharton and Hyam (our captain ffs) it's time to bring the stalwarts in Fleck and McFadz in now.
Waiting for Brittain and Hedges won't matter a flying fuck if there's no ones heart in it.
In the current state of dissaray, we've time to change things up but waiting for something to happen could really bite us on the arse.
Get rid of that fucking wally David Lowe too.

Expecting another henning berg outcome here now

I actually think there are positives in this display from Telalovic as well.
He at least shows some intent and can turn his man.
He gives us thirty somethings hope we can play in the championship one day

How we could have done with kieffer Moore

Wtf does he say to them at HT?
Can't recall the last time we came out better for it.

I’d love a clean sheet today, sounds mad but I’d rather a point at 0-0 than 3 points winning 4-3
Neither will happen, third time lucky?

Most yellow cards
