Some other team will be caught up in this cycle next year
-
Villa unbeaten in last 8 away
-
10 games left; 6 of the teams are in bottom 10 - 2 of which are in the bottom 2
Only 2 of the teams are above us...and these are both at home.
Spurs have got Chelsea, Arsenal & Man United to play
Bolton got Liverpool, Chelsea and United to play but rest of fixtures are relatively easy.
Europe????

Apparently Newcastle have signed a new sponsorship deal with Knorr and have developed a cube with Black and White stripes and Souness's face on it.
It's called it the "laughing stock" !! - Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of supporters.
-
With one fit striker why have we not asked for Gallagher back?!!?!?!?

How inevitable was last nights announcement!?!!
He should have left 2 years ago, never mind waiting til after the world cup. Thanks for the 5-1 Sven, and erm...erm....erm.... close the door on your way out.
I would go for O'Neill, Pearce and have people like Bobby Robson, Peter Taylor as backroom staff.
I doubt it would work with Allardyce - a lot of his work ethic is based on the levels of fitness they have to reach day in, day out using computer-based equipment etc etc - only seeing the players once or twice every few months would make it hard to stick to this regime. Why has Steve Bruce and Steve McLaren even been linked??? How can you trust someone who spent £1.5m on Martin ''Tiny'' (I can think of a lot worse nicknames) Taylor? Must be having a laugh!! McLarens spent a fortune on idiots like Hasselbaink, Viduka and let them take the p*ss and cant get them motivated.
Basically we need a manager that will know his best XI - Eriksson, with only months left to prepare, still doesnt.

I hope Lady LUQUE is on our side

I'll be at St James's!

Midfield was a let down - didnt pressurise them and players like Mendes & Davis had a field day, our 2 full backs passing was shocking and Dickov just moaned the whole time! I would have brought Kuqi on at 2-1 to mix things up a bit.
It is slightly worrying we've not played well at all for the past 3 games. But on a positive side we havent lost and got 5 points.
