Blackburn Rovers central defender Craig Short will miss the important Christmas fixtures after being substituted on 21 minutes yesterday. Short clashed with an Everton player a couple of minutes earlier and was then replaced by Nissa Johansson. Rovers are reporting Short has a slight hamstring injury and will be out for two weeks.
