JamieUK Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Can somebody point me in the right direction of the table showing the total no of points earned per team since the Premier League began in 1992? I've a typical Spurs fan saying how big a club they are : "rovers = mid-table, no european football, no trophies. that is why spurs are higher than you. last 3 seasons we had 2 top 5 finishes. UEFA football, 1 trophy." Thankyou.

Hope not tho will be good to see that table.

MarkBRFC Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Surely every team that has been in the prem every season should have played the same amount of games? Why have Spuds played 2 games less than Arsenal, Chelsea etc?!
Head Rover Heels Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Oh thats close only 23 points in itOr rather proof that we've done better. We average 1.48 points per game, they have a measly 1.34

Why have Spuds played 2 games less than Arsenal, Chelsea etc?! Well spotted, that's going to bug me all day! According to the data the shortfall in their games happens in the 98/99 season. Forest and Charlton appear to have also missed a game. Still can't think why.
JamieUK Posted June 27, 2008 Author Posted June 27, 2008 Ta I noticed the points per game ratio too...

Still can't think why. The data is probably wrong. 1998-99 Spuds results show them to have played both Charlton & Forest twice. also football club history database
