Rovers Out Of The Drop Zone

Recommended Posts

Blackburn Rovers recorded an impressive midweek victory away at in form Fulham. This victory, a game in hand on the pack, pulled Rovers up to 15th in the league. Goals from Diouf and Roberts secured a 2-1 win.

On saturday Rovers once again faced london opposition but were less successful in their return. A below strength Rovers team, fielding 7 defenders in their 11, fell to defeat 4-0. In a repeat of the game at Ewood Park Rovers collapsed in the closing minutes and gifted the final 2 goals to the Gunners.

The result however didn't dent Rovers survival hopes and Rovers remain 15th with home games against West Ham United and Spurs to come next.
