Some snippets of news, The Sporting Life are running a story about Souness now backing the call by a number of Premiership managers for a winter break.

Elsewhere, a number of websites are reporting that Rovers have had their bid for Aston Villa's Alpay turned down. Interestingly Souness was looking to include out of favour defender John Curtis as part of a swap deal.
