[Archived] Support local football and Comic Relief tomorrow....

Recommended Posts

It's '1 adult and 1 child for a fiver' at Chorley FC V Buxton tomorrow!!

If you are looking for a good-value match tomorrow, you could support local non-league football and Comic Relief by coming along to Chorley's Victory Park - 3.00pm kick-off!

CHORLEY FC are hoping to paint the town red for the visit of Buxton on Saturday March 16th - all in the name of Comic Relief. To coincide with the launch of the club's new third kit, the Magpies have designated their home game against The Bucks as 'Red Day' and they plan to ditch their traditional black and white strip for a red one.

In a bid to attract more families to the game, the club have announced details of a
'1 adult and 1 child for a Fiver' offer - and anyone turning up in red on the day will also get a free Comic Relief red nose. A number of other attractions are also being planned for the family fun day and the club will also be donating £5 from every sale of their new red kit to Comic Relief.

A great opportunity to give the kids a day out and introduce them to standing on the terraces, swapping ends at half time, etc, just like the good old days!

You'll just have to come along this afternoon and find out what non-league football is all about!

The social club will be open from 1.00pm and you can keep up with all the latest league action.

I guarantee you will get more than your £5 worth of entertainment and you will be supporting two good causes!

I would appreciate any feedback, positive or negative, from anyone who comes along this afternoon.
