den Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Blackburns Chief Executive, John Williams confirmed this morning, that rovers have rejected two bids from Chelsea, for star winger Damien Duff. There is a release clause in Duff's contract, and if Chelsea were to meet the required conditions, rovers would be obliged to allow Duff to talk to them. However, it is still rovers intentions to keep hold of Duff. It is hoped that rovers recent success and qualification for the UEFA cup will persuade him to stay at ewood. Full story the official site
