Yes I'm aware it exists, I don't agree with being ripped off and basically paying £40 for one game though. Its simply wrong. It should have been done based on season tickets and away tickets, there's gonna be people there who probably won't even attend another away all season!

As a fan from afar, Im trying to understand the logic behind this 1875 membership and priority access.

It would be interesting to see what % of those 1875 members, have taken up this priority access to the away matches to date.

So let's say 8 away matches to date (I'm not sure how many we have played thus far), so just an example.. but if the % is less than those without the 1875 membership, then I'm struggling to understand the system that's in place.. in theory, priority access should have been given on season tickets, rather than having to sell out extra on a membership.

I watched Hirst for the U21s on Saturday. He was awful. A quote that summed him up was, that he looked like an out of his depth trialist.

Im not going to say I told everybody so, but I'm going to do just that. When I said Vale is better, well, I'll stick to that, even though Vale hasn't done much either. But at least we wouldn't have wasted money on an ineffective signing.

There is no reason, why Markanday at the very least, isn't playing ahead of Hirst. Hirst shouldn't be starting games either.

I don't think Dack should come in as we need to play 3 in the centre midfield and control the game. So, it's either Buckley or Garrett to replace Travis in the team. I also don't subscribe to this notion that Garrett should play cos our midfield would be too inexperience. If you are in form and then you play for me. I'm not even sure Dack will be bench this game.

Inexperienced? Like Adam Wharton or Ash Phillips? C'mon Chaddy, if we willing to play the ineffective Hirst, we might as well play the inexperienced Garrett

id`e rather play damien hirst tbh

Well I remember being told how can I say Vale is better than Hirst when we signed him bla bla bla. I would rather let one of our own from the U23s run around doing nothing, than wasting money/wage on a signing that's doing nothing to warrant a place ahead of Dack, Markanday etc.

The main question is who replaces Travis. I think Phillips should he replaced by Carter, who I think is ready and has played well when called upon, Phillips doesn't look fully able to justify a starting spot plus has struggled with fitness in back to back games thus far.

For Travis replacement, I think most would agree that he's likely to stick with the 3-5-2 which gave us better control in midfield especially first half on Saturday.

    Options:

Garrett - most like for like in terms of style, looks good for the under 23s. However is untested and would make for an incredibly young midfield trio.

Dack - needs a run of games and this is the available slot. Could be a good attacking option, morton to sit deep dack to give more support to the front 2. Problem would be that he doesn't really have the legs for it.

Buckley - better suited to a 3 man midfield than a 2. Looks really out of form though.

Hedges - Mr versatility, unlucky to be dropped In the first place. Neat and tidy, works hard but he's not played there for us before. Would be my guess as to who JDT picks.

Edun - energy and mobility. Which you need with a touch that bad.

Rankin costello- would be the sadomastic choice.

Why is everybody afraid to let the likes of Vale, Garrett, or any of the U/23s play, when we are happy to let this George Hirst run around doing nothing? Dack, Markanday etc can't get a game ahead of Hirst?

Only worry on last night was JDT's interview did seem a come and get him regarding Brereton.

It seemed to be more talking the price up rather than 'we would prefer it if he stayed'.

We need the money right now to strengthen the squad... It's pointless to keep BBD right now, unless he decides to sign a new deal ala Hirst for Leicester, and then we can at least get a fee come end of season..

ok line up,just don`t understand diaz out wide and dolan in the middle, given that ben is pretty good with his head and dolan has never headed a football in his life, pretty pointless pinging crosses in,everything will have to come through the middle or behind them

There was one ball played over to Dolan by Morton I think. I simple lob over to him, and he couldn't reach it 😅

Brereton was a stupid signing at the time, hindsight doesn't change that, he hadn't shown enough to merit the fee. In this case, we get a season to see him in our shirt and decide whether he is worth the fee. The people deciding are hopefully not as dim as Mowbray. Despite that, Brereton still turned out to be worth more than double what we paid, probably around 3-4 times what we paid if he was fully under contract.

Gally wasn't worth 5 mill at all, although he isn't as bad as some make out.

The main reason our squad is woefully short in every area isn't because we spent 7 mill on BBD and 5 mill on Gallagher, years ago (not counted in our next FFP cycle I think). It's because we dropped a bollock on contracts, relied heavily on loans, and signed has-beens on inflated wages.

Don't know if BBD is worth more than 10mill right now.

Is it Groundhog Day in here? Just the same conversation over and over. Give Hirst a chance to prove himself if he does, great we’ll  sign him. If he doesn’t also good, we’ll move on to the next one without getting burnt.

And round and round we go? Or maybe, we go out there, and find players who will hit the ground running immediately? With us struggling to score goals, we are banking on a guy who may or may not get us that goals? I mean BBD is struggling to find the net, so Hirst better do, or we are fooked

How long ago was that loan spell? Brererton couldn't control a ball his first couple of seasons here and now he is a £20 million player.

If he is so shit then surely Leicester would have been happy to take whatever money we offered for him on a permanent deal.

With the exception of highlights I have seen nothing of him so I can't say wether he be a good signing or not.

You seem pretty certain he won't be a good signing so il presume you have seen a bit of him.Is he decent with his back to goal?Good at bringing others into play? Can he act as a foil for a Dack or Szmodic coming into the box late from deeper?

Like I said no idea on him but do think the option part of the deal is correct by the club.If he does well and scores a similar amount as he did at Pompey last season then even if £5 million is the amount then it would be a reasonable fee.

Leicester only signed a new deal, so that they wouldn't lose him for nothing at the end of the season lol

Even if we don't take up that option to buy, they could still get something for him from another team..

Ok, no goals in 4 starts, and brought on on 26 other occasions to try and influence the game and failed.

Why are people trying to defend the indefensible? Everyone seemed to be dead against the signing a few days ago, now because an option to purchase at a completely  unrealistic price appears to be a possibility, most people's views seem to have changed.

Is it sheer desperation due to no other further incomings so close to the end of the window?

Because everybody is obsessed with a signing, no matter who that is... A signing is a signing to some.
