  1. Very much looking forward to this one. Added benefit having it on sky now for overseas fans, beats going all around the world for ifollow as Ireland has the same conditions as the UK for some reason. I will enjoy it and think a nice 2-0 or 2-1 win to compliment and very solid start!

  2. I would take James Collins on a free. 34 but would do as cover and no fee plus experienced, could do a job. I am very aware we are not signing top end players at this time so don't need any backlash ?

Bakary Sako also a free agent...I was always oddly a big fan!

Eg Sean Dyche. Took an average Burnley side up and has kept them there

Exactly, Huddersfield too..Happens a lot pal..Look at Millwall, Sheff U, Brentford and Bristol last season..they were really motoring and there squads aint setting the world a light..

Get the basics going and a strong team ethic and its half the battle in this division.

Interesting little comparison for people to ponder when deciding which has been our best team over the last couple of years.
Personally I think we had a stronger squad last season than we currently do this summer.

If you boil it back to its bare bones. We have effectively swapped the availability of

Harry Chapman (when fit), Marcus Antonsson, Adam Armstrong and Jack Payne for Joe Rothwell and Jacob Davenport.

I suppose you could argue at a push that Rothwell and Davenport replace Chapman and Payne. But for me that doesn't replace the two center forward options we had and doesn't confront the lack of pace availability on the wing that we had last season (which might have been somewhat addressed with Chapman being fit).

For me. We still need at least two center-forwards and a winger, if not two.
In an ideal world we would get another defender to cover for Mulgrew if needed. But at a push I guess we have Wharton and Downing.

Not posted in awhile..all 3 are very average on paper..seems the Championship is very unique in maybe the manager is more important than the quality of the squad. If the manager can get a tune out of his team and get the tactics right anyone can be up around the playoffs..if you were purely depending on it player for player we would be mid to low table, the recruitment in the next month will be very interesting.

Yes, but only after the android app is issued and I've tested it.

I am retired now but now often in quite remote locations doing volunteer aid work with my Thai wife and need it to work via my phone. Most apps are fine so should be ok.

    Thai wife...PLAYA!!

The games with the camera icon will be shown live on iFollow international version.

There is no reason I can think of why the pre-season friendlies can't be shown on the UK or indeed the 'Free Pass' versions. Good marketing idea maybe.

Are you signing up in Thailand?

P.s On mobile , just go to the highlights videos and there is a subscribe link on each one,  that takes you to the ifollow sign up :)

    Thanks Perth,

I have the same options as the UK..they do realise Ireland is a separate country yeah? Annoying! Has to be a way to register as if your in a foreign country :)

Sign up is now available for ifollow, LINK nice to see no extra Australia tax added on :) to the subscription cost. Matches will be steamed in HD

Android and the fruit company apps not yet ready, but will be in time for the first games of the season apparently.

Looks like none of the clubs that are opted out are in League 1, so can expect all 46 Rovers matches obviously apart from those that will be chosen by overseas broadcaster to show live. Think I can count on one hand the League 1 games apart from play offs that were shown last season, so looking good.

Did it give you the option to sign up to all the matches? Only giving me 2 options, free or 45 quid..Im in Ireland but just wondering if its given you the full option as you are outside of the UK and Ireland
