  1. The negative press is a bit harsh on us, just like the day after we played Chelsea.

Do the bigger teams expect us to roll over and let them play? Grow up.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the day had a great laugh with other Rovers fans on the train going down to Cardiff and back.

Thought 3-0 was a bit harsh on us, Arsenal were always the favourites and their quality showed in the end.

We could have had a possible penalty shout, when Reid was pulled back by Vieira and was clipped on his heel.

In the end, I think most we all had a good day out, brings in a bit of money as well.

  2. It doesn't surprise me to hear all this about Rovers, this is when we've just lost, can you imagine what it would be like if we had won?

What did people expect from us, it's a semi final we're not just going to let Arsenal pass it about.

  3. The argument's been going round and round in circles.

You either go or you don't for whatever reason.

I think we all appreciate the difficulty of the day, it's not possible for all Rovers fans who want to go to be able to make it in time for kick off, plus the cost for families who I feel most sorry for out of anyone who want to go.

The FA made the kick off time, if it had been a kick off later on in the afternoon then I'm fairly sure we'd get more fans to Cardiff, not near selling out but a few more than the numbers that have been recently mentioned.

  4. It's dissapointing but the FA can have only themselves to blame.

We're only taking 15k, it's dissapointing but let's make sure that when we go down we get right behind the team.

I'm looking at it like it's a once in a life time opportunity. We haven't been this far in the FA Cup for god knows how many years. The kick off time can't be helped, the prices can't either but Rovers fans have been wanting a good cup run in years, we've got one so get down to Cardiff.

The ones who aren't going, I understand the price and appreciate the difficulty of familes not being able to go down but just imagine what you could be missing out on.

  5. Great win yesterday, virtually guarentees us Premiership football for next season.

Everyone seemed to click yesterday, Neill had his best game in years I thought.

The Axe played a cracking ball to Pedersen who scored another great goal for Rovers. Dickov was a pest all game, Reid is getting better and better by each game and fully deserved his goal.

Full of confidence and we can go to Cardiff next Sunday in good spirit with nothing to lose.

    Blackburn 3 - 0 Soton

Attendance was poor. But winning 3-0 can only make the people who didn't come think about coming to watch Rovers at some stage.

  6. I'm not sure on Neill, he's too in-consistant.

He is solid in the tackle but if he comes against a winger with pace he does tend to struggle.

His distribution of the ball is very poor, he gave the ball away a few times at United on Saturday and has done for a long time.

If Souness offers decent money for him, let him go.

  7. I'm dissapointed but not shocked to be honest.

A semi final in the FA CUP, something that we haven't been in a very long time.

I understand people's reasoning in struggling to go, it isn't cheap and I've found it difficult to afford it as well but if you really want to go then you'll go.

Hughes has said that the club hasn't gone on a good cup run for a long time, the fans have said it year after year, we're in the semi final and our ticket sales are not great, what more do some people want.

  8. I don't think Todd is a dirty player.

Todd has always been a physical player and it's good to see that there are still some physical players around in the Premier League today.

Defenders are made to look bad because they're virtually the last line of defence, apart from the goalkeeper.

Strikers are physical, look at Shearer, is he dirty?

Todd has had his fair share of mad moments, but he hasn't been dirty this season.

  9. I can't believe this thread.

I wonder what the suicide count now we've just lost ONE NIL at home to the CHAMPIONS in our THIRD game in SEVEN DAYS!

Best thing that's been said shillito.

In the last three games we beat Leicester to get to the semi's, got a point in a battling displat at Anfield and didn't play too badly against Arsenal.

Or if you take our last three league games, against Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal to get four points out of nine is fantastic.

Who would have thought five months ago that we would have acheived this?
