  1. One of those games.

I remember getting the day off from School. Then going Ewood, remember it still. Nice evening it was.

Decent first half and hanging on at the end. That second half seemed to go on for ages, Shearer missed infront of the Geordies, hit it wide.

    Then Flowers was outstanding.

    VICTORY AT EWOOD DAY

  2. Just got back.

Didn't play brilliantly, frustrating yes. Going to a place where you lead twice and then sloppily IMO give away two equalisers, is annoying.

I was surprised Todd didn't play today , thought Zurab did ok. But at times lacked the physical aspect, Nelsen was solid but got caught out with equaliser.

All in all, a point is ok. Pompey were on a decent run, they were the better side yet we didn't play to the standards we can and we managed to get something.

Dissapointing yes, but not the end of the world.

Look at where we were this time 12 months ago and look where we are now.

    Keep it up lads.

  3. On Monday night I was more disappointed with the performance than the result but after 11 wins and 3 draws at home this season can't help but think some on here are guilty of a massive over-reaction. Looking at the results since Saturday we've gained a point when our two main rivals have achieved nothing. Lucky? Perhaps, but that's how it goes in fotball.

Next job beat Portsmouth. Bolton have Liverpool away and Spurs have a Man City hopefully stung by their manager's outburst. Interesting weekend ahead.

    I agree with that Paul.

But we did have the chance to close the gap even closer by winning. On the night we weren't good enough, but Bolton's confidence musn't be that great at the moment.

We're capable of getting a result on Saturday, going to have to battle hard.

  4. TBH, I'm sick of hearing reasons why people don't go anymore.

I understand kick off times etc, family commitments and football is expensive.

Since 2006 begun we've played some cracking stuff, if people aren't coming, apart from winning the league I don't know.

People who choose not to come, are missing out on some of the best football I've seen in a while from Rovers.
