I agree with Philipl - West Brom has a very porous defence - Bellamy should have a field day if he can get service, I assume Reid will replace the suspended Lilly with Tugay to supply the passes for Bellamy to score 2 / Bentley to get on the sheet.
3-0 to the blues.
-
Would be absolutely delighted with a 0-0 bore draw, Rovers can play 4-5-1 all afternoon for me if they steal a point.
-
3 of us are going - £16 is a very fair price, surely it is better to give the club the money rather than seeing the Manchester Bucaneers on Saturday for the princely sum of £64.
Teletext are reporting what appears to be a full first team squad, no Matteo due to a fractured ankle.
Score - 4-1 to Rovers
Bothroyd has just scored for Charlton !!
-
3-1 Rovers - hope Sparky plays 4-4-2 with Bellamy / Kuqi being too much for Bramble and Boumsong to deal with, the Spanish reject is bound to score, Bellamy / Kuqi and Reid, P45 in the post on Monday morning to Mr Souness.
-
2-2 , Bellamy / Reid, Spit the dog and Pie boy for the Trotters, red card for Nolan after taking out Savage. Not going to the Breezeblock - I will buy tickets for the Huddersfield game instead.
-
Baros will presumably be starting, 2-1 to the Villans I am afraid. Mr Lawrenson likewise predicts a win for them. Baros / Angel and Kuqi to get off the mark.
-
despite Villa having solarno straight redded (won't be playing us on Saturday then)
I thought red card suspensions came into effect on the 7th day after the dismissal - no doubt members on here will correct me if I am wrong.
-
I wonder if Flitty may come in for Tugay to look after Davids, I think Hughes will stick with 4-5-1. Sorry but I can't see spuds not scoring so I will go for 1-1 , Kuqi and Mido. Well done to Spurs fans - 3K plus mid week to East Lancs - great support..
-
I agree - a return to 4-5-1 with Kuqi leading the line, the Axe to be in front of the back 4, 2-0 to Rovers along as Boa Morte can be subdued.
-
Summer optimism rapidly evaporated in a cloud of bubbles - a reality check now very necessary. The second half sounded dire - Rovers yet again press the self destruct button and another red card - could be a very long season on this evidence.
-
I would settle for 1-1 - Rovers managed to loose at Wham when nobody else had all season, their first home game back in the premiership; Sheringham and Kuqi to score.
-
My first match was the final game in 98 - 99 season when I dare to admit that we got tickets to see the scum match from a member of the stretcher bearer party - junior quack came along, thought the scum were exactly that and despite Rovers going down we were hooked!!
-
I am personally disappointed with this transfer - I hope that it does not come back to haunt Rovers in the next few years; Hughesy knows more about strikers in his little toe nail than I do but I do think Jonathon has been ejected a little too rapidly. I just wonder if this could be a pivotal moment in his time as Rovers manger, if he finds another 2 strikers in the way he found the admiral and the axe then we will be very complementary on Sparky's ability to go goldmining. If we are left with Dickov & Cole, will this be the first sign that Sparky can't hack it? - time will tell.
Into fantasy mode - what about a front line of Benni / Bellamy - that would make me renew the season tickets immediately!
-
Really enjoyable night out, good to see Shearer responding to the crowd and what a fantastic reception for TP at the end.
A DVD of the night will be available shortly.
-
2-0 to Spuds, still should be a good day out - lots of balloons / inflatables and will Jordans' blow up girl be making an appearance?
-
1 - 2 to Brum FT, damn.
-
Heskey scored 2-1 oh no !!
-
The axe has been booked for trying to remove Pennant's tag.
-
1 - 0 STEAD !!!!!!! header from Emreton cross
-
What a shock - another defeat predicted by Lawro, personally I hope Savage does not play and we stuff them 3-0 to consolidate a mid table place - would love to hear Bruce whinging about BRFC on MOTD !!
-
1- 0 to the Baggies, their very own Horseface to score, Rovers looked weary and they will really be up for the points. Sorry.
-
On MOTD both SWP and Nelsens pull on Sibierski appeared to be penalties - oh well, lady luck is smiling !
-
1-1 draw for me - SWP and Stead to finally score at Ewood.
-
2-1 to Rovers, dubious Johnson penalty and then Stead / Reid bag the pints for the blues.

The shove on Dickov was a clear penalty - the scum's penalty was awarded for far less contact - is time for Mr Indigestion pill to be demoted again?
Great result and good to see Kuqi's dive at last.
